I actually got one of those in yesterday. I found one on ebay that works really well for like 10 bucks. Its only 80X but I believe it will work just fine. Thanks for stopping by.

Actually I made a homemade generator one 1gallon milk jug and one 2 liter bottle. It works pretty well my friend let me borrow a meter and it is putting out 1100 PPM of CO2. Only problem is my fans dump the air so quickly in my tent. Thanks for the comments.

In the one gallon milk jug I used a combo of 4 cups of sugar and 2 tsp of activated yest. Half of that in the 2 liter. Basically dissolved the sugar in luke warm water (90-100 degrees F) and then added the yeast and shook well for about 5 minutes on each one. Drilled a hole in each top and used fish tank tubing and sealed with silicone, connected tubes from both jugs with a "t-valve" and then ran a tube into my tent. It takes about an hour to start working. You can put the tube in some water and when the bubbles start coming out you know its working. I still do that every few days to make sure its still producing a good amount. Should be a constant stream of bubbles rather than one every few seconds. Best of luck and happy growing!

5-11-14 Update:
Everything seems to be going fine. I feel like they are not growing as fast as I had hoped but are still under optimal conditions. Hopefully they hit their stride soon. Only thing I am worried about now is the transplanting process. Hope someone has some tips for me on that. I want to cause as little stress as possible but i do have my smart pots ready. Should I do it with the soil dry or moist? Next time I will start in what I finish with. Thanks and happy growing!

Thanks, I figured that just wanted to make sure. I'm thinking wait one day between my 3 day watering schedule, that day being the day after a water.

Nice job on your set-up, man! Sounds like you've done some homework, and it will pay off in the end!
In my own personnal experience with autos, they seem to start out slow, until they get a root network established, then they'll grow like mad. When they start stretching, hang on! I've used the DG nutes with great success, however, you'll need to learn your plants. Couple things I noticed missing from your lineup is some CalMag, and dolomite lime FLOUR.
Get some CalMag, because you'll need to add some in when you start flowering- especially if you're using RO water. Natural spring water will often have enough calcium in it to ward off deficiency- but watch them carefully. The down side to autos is, if you get a deficiency started and don't catch it in time, chances are, you'll not get it corrected in time to get the max potential from them.
The dolomite lime mixed in your soil before planting, will help TREMENDOUSLY with keeping your soil ph buffered, and adds calcium. Get the finely powdered flour, though, not granulated. The granulated takes time to break down and become useable.
The FF OF soil is pretty hot, but I put my clones in it when they're ready for transplant, and they go APESHIT!
I'm running 2 strains- CheeseQuake, and Pineapple Trainwreck. This is my first run of the Trainwreck.
From clones, they went straight into 12/12.
The 1st 2 weeks- no nutes. 3rd wk, started in with 1/2 strength. 1/2 DG Grow, 1/2 DG Bloom + CalMag. After that it has been full strength bloom + CalMag.
CheeseQuake loves this! But by the end of week 3, the Trainwreck had already started to show signs of P deficiency. It sucked the nutes from that soil so fast I couldn't believe it. So the next run, I'll start with bloom nutes at the beginning of week 2. Some strains are very conservative, and some are nute HOGS!
I've also found with DG, (this is where it pays to know your plants) that the N in the DG Bloom, isn't always enough to keep it from yellowing during the bloom cycle, watch carefully- and don't check them under HPS lighting! The yellow/orange hue is very deceptive and will mask many deficiency probs until it's to late!

Btw, the FF OF mix I use is-
10% perlite added
1 cup dolomite flour per cubic foot
Mix very well while dry, the moisten it, and mix it well again!
Keep it simple!

For transplanting, I use 1/4 tsp of Superthrive/gal, water with it the day before you transplant, and water them in with it the day of. Often, they'll never miss a lick!

Wow! Thanks for all the info Spliffer. Good to hear from someone that uses DG. I actually got my sample pack in today and I think its more than enough for my first and probably second grow. You gave tons of useful information that will help me tremendously. As far as checking for deficiencies, how do you suggest I do that without the HPS? Is there a special sort of light I should use or should I do right before or after their awake cycle?

Edit: Thought I would add a picture of the samples they sent. Each are 11oz bottles. A lot of this I will probably not even touch. Thanks so much!

5-14-14 Update:
Well I have now transplanted all the plants and they are in their home until the end. I transplanted into a mix I made (75% FFOF, 20% CoCo Soil-less,5% Perlite) It seems as if they are all generally pretty happy and cant find anything to complain about at the moment. 5/7 plants where transplanted about 2 hours after my last update on 5-11-14. One was done yesterday (strawberry blue) and one today (money maker). The one I transplanted today was done under a partial solution of DG Pro-Tekt and DG K-L-N. Just wanted to see the difference in the plants once transplanted. No plants have been given any food yet other than what the soil provides. I do not plan on starting that until at least 21 days from breaking ground. As far as days alive for each plant here we go:
:5.7 days since Money Maker has been in veg :8.5 days since Strawberry Blue has been in veg
:9.0 days since Ak-48 has been in veg :9.5 days since Auto Pounder has been in veg
:9.5 days since Critical has been in veg :9.5 days since Northern Lights has been in veg
:9.5 days since Trans Siberian has been in veg
Think they are growing a bit slow still but for the most part they are about to get through the original medium into the FFOF mix I made. Once that happens I expect them to take off. If anyone has any suggestions on if I could somehow have better placement of my plants to get the most light possible please let me know. I am starting to think that 6 plants would have been just fine. Its definitly going to get bushy in there once flowering cranks into high gear.

Your little babies are so cute! And they grow up so fast!
I go into my room every day (well, I try to. lol) at exactly 3 minutes before my lights come on, (or you could do it as the lights go out, whichever works best for your schedule- but be consistent) and I use a little superbright LED flashlight to look everything over real good. Once I turn it on, I don't turn it off until my HPS lamps fire. I try to be consistent just to keep from confusing the plant about it's light cycle. I know that turning a light on and off repeditively can confuse them, and cause them to begin reversing hormones, I just don't know at what point that would occur. The 3 minutes is about what it takes me to look them over before the lamps fire.
GOOD time to look for bugs, too. Little bastards are most active at dark, and can often be seen on the tops of the leaves vs. the undersides, where they'll hide during the day. Little shits will run from your light, too!

If anyone could look at this and tell me what is going on here I would greatly appreciate it. She doesn't look good at all and i am worried if the transplant may have hurt her. Any help is appreciated. This is the Seed Hunter's Money Maker.

5-25-14 Update:
It has been a while since I have done an update because I have been very busy. In the last three days all but one plants have started the flowering process. All have came out female just as hoped and today I switched them over to the hps. Now the fun begins of watching them grow the buds.
