First indoor CFL grow.

Hey everyone I'm currently at 7 days old with my 5 ladies.

I am using 4 23w 6500k cfl with 1 purple 13w cfl. For my fan im useing a computer fan . For my walls in the box I'm using about 15-30 sheets of papers thick , and for my reflector I'm useing a plastic reflector I found in my recycle bin. Lmfao!

Hey man looking great so far
what kind of soil is that ? and what is that blue bulb in the middle ? Might wanna replace it with regular 65k or smth
you can still get nutes because you'll need them sooner or later but if you're using some kind of hot soil
your seedlings might get burned if you give them nutes on top of what they get from soil.
I'm using Fox Farm Ocean Forrest soil and fed my plant the 1st time with Fox Farm nutes at the age of 3 weeks.
seedlings don't need much from what I've read .

Thanks bro. I'm useing shultz premium plus , and the purple uvb light is a test I'm doing for more blue light spectrum. And yeah my soil has nutes in it already that last up to 9 months. Anyhow imight just stick to distilled water. I'll post some pictures up in a hr or so... Plants have grownalot in past 2 days :)

hey buddy...personally I would swap out that blue bulb for a 5000k, that will give you a wider spectrum...and consider a few more lights...plus you will need some 2700k for the flower stage

You may need to seal up your room a bit better and add another small fan....air circulation is so important

BTW...emergency blankets are a cheap effective method to reflect light

but your gals are looking good....best of luck with your gals

yes it is one ghetto grow i setup in about 5 mins lol the door is not sealable considering i dont got a exhaust . the purple light is a uvb .. and so far the plants love there enviroment illl post some pics later of the ladys . if u could help me with some ideas on my dresser imma turn into a grow room that would be great

anyways thanks for the help .. ill post some pics of my dresser imma turn into a grow box later and we can get some ideas for it and ill go out and buy some supplys

thanks m8 .. i have a dresser i want to turn into a stealth grow box but i dont know exactly how im going to do so .... ill post some pictures later and if u could help with some ideas that would be great :D

Yea I know I could have done better myself I just used stuff around the house to build it considering me and my m8 started seeds unprepared ( seeds were 2-3 years old ) and I threw the box together once again unprepared. Anyhow thanks for the comment.

Those look great man. I personally believe that a broader spectrum might be better, and I don't know if anyone else has said this. But throw some 2700ks and 5000ks in there, and they'll love it. Shoot right up man.

Also I don't believe in only placing lights over head. I think throwing slightly weaker lights than the over head lights discourages stretching, yet still properly feeds the plants with CFL lights.
