First indoor grow...but not sure if i should go all indoor..check it out

So i just got a ballast 1000wtt hps light and 2 sets of t5 for about 300 from a friend who just did an amazing grow...he had Chcolope,g13,Grand daddy purp, and jucie fruit x breed with bubble gum..he had them all from clones...now he only did 6 plants and the buds were so full but i know its from the HPS...but im living in an apt and im not trying to use the HPS right now till i get my house...which is this summer...but right now i wanna start this little indoor project...cause i got some seeds from him...and some clones that are just sitting in rooting gel and direct light ...getting ready to take...but if i wanted to start this indoor just the veg the 2 t5 should be pretty good and do u think it would put a spike in my electricity bill?...cause i know they look for that shit in apts...but im thinking about starting them...get them a nice 3 or 4 ft before the summer...throw prob 5 outside casue im sitting on like 25 seeds and then 5 clones...but i need to do something with the clones soon..i got prob 4 days left

are the t5's single or dual bulbs, and what light cycle will you be using. If they are Florescents, which i believe they are, usually about 40W per bulb. and you will want at least 2 dual 4ft fixtures to grow more than a couple plants. So your looking at 80 watts per fixture, your looking at about 7 or 8 KWh per day from the lights, and then your going to need a fan too. If you consume alot of electricity already, they will not care about a jump of a little more, if you have a cheap bill, then it could put a spike on it. Electric companies only care if usuage is alot higher or a lot lower than average. If you move into house, start using 1000W right away to not have spike. 3 or 4 ft tall and then taking them out of an apartment is not a good time, been there. I would advice for summer situation growing a few mother plants, taking clones a month or so before you can put them outside, and then only put clones out for the summer.

get yourself a good starter set up for the 5 clones to get going.

-wait on the seeds. Till you get your own house house. It will be much easier to look after 30 possible plants let alone keep them alive in your own sanctuary, than in an apartment.


That way if you get a killer female by then, you can clone to your hearts desire and try your outdoor idea.

Yeah the clones are chcolope and bubble gum x jucie...and the t5's are dual bulbs idk how many lumas they put off...but the area im trying to do this in is a spare bedroom but i got half of it blocked off so its prob about a 7x8 foot room not going to use the HPS..but the t5's i think for a 24 hour veg to get them on a boost...but i wanna use an all natural nutes cause thats what he did and his buds turned out amazing i have done many outdoors but this just was so inspiring to go to my brothers everyday and just fucking watch this shit...but when u pulled in his drive way he woudlnt be smoking..u can smell that shit..and he lives in the country and whats something on an order controll?

also i wanna start the seeds now tho...cause all the females i get i wanna clone and i can do more possibly outdoor i have always have big yeilds outdoor nothing hurts me out there its my nature haha the indoor is tricky..im blocking off this section with mylar tho and i got this video how not to get cought haha...i need to block my windows with something heavy tho so heat cant reach outside..but i wanna do a 24 hour veg...or 18..he was on a 24 and cut them 12/12
