First Journal, Medical personal grow - Valley OG and Chem

This is the first time i have started a journal. Will detail what i can. Any tips, tricks, comment, or questions are all welcome, but lets keep it on topic please.

Setup:
1000w Digilux HPS with Quantum dimmable ballasts with VERY VERY large CAP XXXtreme hoods
Using RO water
General Hydro Flora series nutes
Growing in Rockwool gro-cubes (in 5 gal buckets now)
Using CO2 @ 1500PPM with sentinel Fuzzy controller and bottled CO2
AC is set to 72 which keeps temps at top of canopy between 83-85
Humidity is set to 60 with Sentinel EVC2 and attached to my dehumid

Had some issues in veg and started this thread here if you want to see where these started. (thanks laserbrn for all your help on that one!!)

Just started week 3 flower. All have been trimmed and staked.

Just went in and snapped these. Lights were off and i had a green light on in the room but even with the flash, they still look darker than they really are. This would be Day 18 flower.

Everything is going REALLY great now, i only have 1 very small issue i cant quite solve and that is the "taco leaf". Its gotta be something simple i am just not thinking about cause its pretty much affecting all the girls and it is MOSTLY affecting the top / newer growth. Any thoughts on this would be very much appreciated.

Things are looking good my man. The only criticism I have is taking pictures and messing with your plants during the dark period. I know that green lights are okay for grow rooms, but man, I'm still against it. No light during the dark period is your BEST bet. Play with your girls when the lights are on! It's easy to turn the lights off for a few minutes while you take some pictures and inspect the plants, no need to mess with them while they sleep.

Yeah.. I am with you. I just hate the pics under HPS lights. You never get to see true color. BUT... its probably just cause i dont know the correct settings for my dslr.

Will be updating tonight with more pics!! Just flushed with straight water going into week 4 and they are looking great!! Was getting a little too much N again, but i got that dialed and everything is looking fantastic!!

Got a question for anyone that can answer, but I have been using the Dry Kool bloom in my mix for a while now, but during the initial stages of flowering, i just cut it way down (start out at 25%) and work my way up.

My question is this: Liquid Kool Bloom... is it worth it or not? I can get the same ratios of nutes by adjusting a few things in my mix, but GH marketing department wants me to thing that the liquid will add more bulk and the dry is just for finishing.

Anyone out there have first hand knowledge they can lay on me?
