First outdoor photoperiod: BIG GIRL

Hey there, this indica dominant hybrid girl was vegging in a 3x3 tent until she overgrew it.
I had to put her outside, where she gets about 8-12 per day of direct sunlight. It’s amazing the way she was stretching before, and now nodes are packing supertight.
She went through a lot of stress with this environmental changes but will make it through and hopefully give me some nice buds in mid September 7E645F28-809A-4459-B0DA-56521A59314D.png4266CF15-6417-49BF-A523-551F53322E43.jpeg4E11DDFF-C8B8-4D53-972F-EBDDC7E44C49.png

OH BOY :bigjoint:
She’s looking GOOOOOD
Nodes are the tightest i’ve ever grew on a plant even outdoors, there are like 8 or 10 nodes in the top two inches of every branch, she is growing like crazy and quickly adapting to the outdoor climate

Now getting 10 to 13 hours of direct sunlight per day, i had to do a bit of research and found out this:
In my state i get 12 hours of dark only in mid September, but at the same time cold and rains start.
So, having a +/- 53 days strain, i’m planning to use light deprivation starting around mid July, covering here with a DIY tent of panda film every night from 19:00 to 7:00, hoping to harvest around mid September... would this work? I’ve never grew photoperiods outdoor in my state

She gonna need more dirt. And trellis to hold her up. That bad girl going to be 15 foot tall.
This is scaring me
She is in a 10 gal, coco perlite.
I can add more coco on the surface and cover it up with panda maybe..
and I ordered about 20 stakes 2 meters tall :wall::wall:
I can’t get her over 10 feets because the tallest plant of my garden are covering from neighbors (almost 7 years old plants)

Its actually looking like its already preflowering, might not get that much bigger. Yes covering it should help force flower.

She got small clear trichome heads all over, but not stretching at all. If the stretch doesn’t happen by its own, i’m going to wait till mid July to cover her.
Thanks for the advices!

plants that big wont stretch that much esp. also due to being rootbound.... you could also darken for 14h until the transition is complete, place the 10h into the full midday

man your the master of big cannabis trees... so you live in India?

Very useful advice brother, thank you..
Also I am worried about making her Ermie so i think i’ll cover her every night anyways..

Seriously i’ve never done trees like these and i’m super proud of them. They grew this much because by the end of 2019 i moved to a new place and made a completely new indoor system from zero with 1 bloom tent, and planted the two girls together. As I was getting the system perfect an buying all the stuff, they overgrew the first tent so I had to buy another to let them alone. As I flowered the oldest, the “smallest” one over grew the 3x3 veg tent and I had to put her outside..
Next cycles i plan to do perpetual harvests with 4 smaller girls for time, but even if this experience was long as fuck, i’m really proud of the way they turned out.
Not saying it is worth it, maybe one day i’ll try to do even a bigger one

Also even if your neighbors cant see her, they will definitely smell her.
I hope this won’t be a problem as i live on top of a 6 floor building and everything is covered to the eyes by other plants. So maybe all the neighborhood would get my Weed smell carried from the wind but won’t know where it comes from

I love big plants, its just more easy to care about one big plant than 30 SOG little ones.
So the sun is now rising where you are?
the darkening works and isnt much hassle, although there are several methods...
at another forum there was a guy here in Germany that grew a single plant in a dumbster that had wheels, so he could move the plant around.
In 250l soil :D

WHEELS that’s the way to do it, awesome idea.. i think i’ll Get a big container with wheels that i already have, put a grid on top of it and should be able to move my girl in a dark place..
The sun will rise till end of June in my country, don’t take the fact that “i live in India” as gold  I have a climate like Spain, maybe a bit more colder and rainy in the late summer
