If you cant afford it. stick with CFL's (imo) its more effective at equal watts.
Equally dispersed lights.

And u might have trouble fitting it in your box.

i dont have the proper lights for vegging. im worried about height, the inside height is 17 inches minus the diameter of the bulb. if i veg will the plant become too large for my case?

also another bean cracked and has been potted.

Ohh if thats the case you CAN veg with 27k its just not optimal. If you have the lights REAL close "1 inch" it wont stretch NEARLY as much. Hell on a seedling (1) 42 watter 1 inch away will stretch less than 2 42 watters 6 inches away.

so when u get the 2nd node tie her down and leave her in veg for atleast 2 weeks more before switching to 12/12

i may im not really sure i cant wait for em to break through the dirt

as of now nothing of interest has happened.

so all 3 of my pots have germinated seeds in them. the first one is out of the ground but the seed hasnt opened yet to show the cotyledon leaves. will update later when something happens.

i'v got 3 lil sprouts now.

im pretty sure the middle seedling is dead, the other 2 look good.

so my 2 plants started to look like they was dying so i moved them outside. i planted 2 germinated seeds and 1 has already sprouted.

hope u have better luck with these...just work out the kinks in ur box, i went through the same thing SUBD!
