First plant harvested, any predictions on the yield?

I've never harvested a plant before and have no idea what to expect, any one have some educated guesses? I'll weigh it in a few days (after it's manicured). its currently drying.

Now, I know to check for mold, but, what exactly should I look for? Just any sort of discoloration?

My drying room is just a room in the attic with the door cracked, and a fan in there but not pointed directly at them.

temp last night was 59 F, and 40% humidity. Are those ok conditions?

A little cold, but seems like good conditions. Beautiful buds by the way for your first grow. I am going to guess around a zip as well. +rep. I hope my ladies turn out like that.

Nice grow! very nice..yea when it drys you should prob get a little more then a ounce...but you should look at the water cureing and you should try that with some of your nugs.. i just tried it last week with one of the colas off my indoor its still got 2 weeks but i was too excited when i saw it so i tried it..and it really makes your bud taste alot better you taste the crystals more

well im guessing he never smoked pot before he water cured because it does not make it taste better and it makes it look worse as well so that bad info, you have good looking buds man and id hate to see you ruin their integrity by doing that stupid shit. I think you got 35 grams.

hey thanks everyone! As far as the grow turning out well, I even over nuted them at one point, But Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil rocks, and it seemed to like my 400w hps too. As for nutrients I just used botanicare's pure blend pro, bloom formula.

It was a lowlife seeds autoflowering unknown strain.

I was interested in water curing until I found out that I read that it does take away the flavor and smell.

Chadwick does have a point that it does filter out a lot of the bad stuff that goes in your lungs making it smoother, but, as stepen says, it takes the flavor along with it, and that is what I want, because it just enhances the smoking experience.

Ive never actually bought weed that has had a good aftertaste, except for one time. So, I'm hoping with curing I can get a nice taste from this. On the plant it smelled nice and fruity.

Got 2 more plants still under the lights, so i'll be chopping those within the next 2 weeks so stay tuned!

big buds like yours will take some time 2 dry and cure 1 week hanging then a week curing after that 1-1.5 oz

27g after 4-5 days drying, putting them in a brown paper bag now, hopefully she doesn't lose much more weight (or mass I guess)

thats really not a bad take from 1 plant that couldn't have been much more than 6 - 7 inches tall when you started flowering. And homegrown smoke should last alot longer too. Don't go wasting that rolling blunts. lol. Did you say you have more plants? are they about the same size as that one?

Oh it will last haha. Actually It was an autoflowering strain. And yes I do have 2 more that were from the same pack (auto mix pack). I'll post pictures of them trimmed up tonight.

any reason you clipped all the fan leaves instead of just cutting the whole plant and harvesting all at once?

no reason, just wanted to take a picture of it like that.

anyway, here is the harvest of them all.
First two are the first plant I harvested, after 5 days drying (I call it blastoff because that is what I felt like when I tried it, very energized, and before i chopped it it bore resemblance to a rocket)

The next 6 pictures are the remaining 2 plants which I cut today, first the 3, which looks similar to the first one,

and the last 3 are the baby ( it was about 6 inches tall, and it is very dense)

looks great... pretty much spot on with the guess on weight tell me they know there shit... did you flush before you harvested... just wondering for personal use later...+rep on first grow
