Does the cover on the fan affect air flow? Pulling in thru the vent slots as opposed to full fan face open to the area.
Just curious, I left the cover off mine (because it was a bad fit when mounting against 2 sides) but if it directs the air out of the unit better I might have to look at cutting mine down to size and installing it.
In my mind since the filter media is downstream causing positive back pressure the small restriction that the fan was designed for should play no role on the cfm efficiency of the system

Sorry I should have mentioned since we only see part of that fan everyday, it's a bathroom vent fan, came up with the overall layout while sitting in the bathroom with my morning bowl, sitting on the bowl.....

Trying something different. this was a joint idea.......

At the next transplant the tube will get cut and hooked up to air with sterile stainless steel power washer pick up screen as shown on the first pic. next transplant will be 2 gallon dirt fox farm.

I'd like to thank "someone" for the inspirational conversation that led to the concept . . .:leaf::leaf::leaf:1480674350906-1112902261.jpg 1480674473565-527475383.jpg

So last night's project was never clarified, once it is rooted around the tubing I have the option at transplant , hydro and put 2 air stones under in the water, or in dirt use 2 screens to keep the tubes unclogged to aerate directly to the tap root, also will give a place for ph and water samples through the tube directly in the core of the root zone.

So now after seeing how they reacted to the lighting I made the change to all red up top and 1 less light in the bottom for temperature reasons, now I'll take that lighting and turn my worktable footlocker into a clone cabinet. I'll post results later .

I really like how you've got that wooden cabinet set up with the vegging chamber below. And the bloom chamber up top. Looks like a really nice perpetual grow setup.

How long do you have to wait between harvesting plants? I'm assuming you only do one at a time. With the smaller one being the next to get chopped after one from veg gets moved to flowering.
