Hey bro

Means you still have a bit of build up

Try this feed with your normal level till the run off is the same once you reach that wait till the next feed do 1/2 strength

Try week feeding

1st full strength
2nd 50%
3rd 100%

Are you Using RO water or just tap water

If your using tap water leave it out for 24 hours before you add your food

Plus once you make up your mixture leave it for a hour and make sure your not adding to much ph down or up

Or some of the nutrients might take time to bring up 100% correct reading on the ec reader it should but this just me thinking out of the box

Some people in soil will do

Nutrients feed
Then next feed just ph water
Then nutrients

Don't stress to much they can really take a lot for the first 4 weeks of flower then after that they get a litttle touchy best to fix it now before it becomes a problem later on

Hope this helps it works for me so I hope it works for you
Cheers bro, yeah I use tap water, I always leave it out. So on my next feed, Il just give her some ph water. Cheers for the advice about leaving the mix for an hour. I have been in the past just mixing it up and going for it.

Day 24 of 12/12 - my leaf issue seems to be going away. Thanks Dirtynerd for your help with this!!!

Going to feed her straight ph'd water tomorrow to lower the run off ec

I also attached a photo of how I can water and get run off more easily. I'm going to build a wooden structure for my next grow as I'll use two plants.

Hey bro, gave her a feed tonight of just water adjusted to ph of 6.4 that was left over night. The run off brought the ec level down from 2.6ish before to 2.35. Next time I feed her I'm just going to give 1/4 strength to bring it down further. Do you think this is a good idea?

On another note. She is starting to smell real nice. I counted over 52 tops :). Should have a comp on how much it will yield

Sounds like a good idea what EC level is your max... ? first 4 weeks they can take the high EC but after that get a little touchy

Awesome 52 tops nice! my jacks got about 40 but there a bit longer as i let them grow up a bit

I am going to guess 12 Oz for your yield i like to always think low and that why when you get more you will be happy so best to think less and be happy when you are done

My bigbang is not very smelly i think its because its been really hot over the last couple of weeks so i been finding it hard to control and if you get high temps the smells don't come out much i might just need to bite the bullet and run the A/C when lights are on or its still going to hurt my yield

anyway bro things are looking awesome great job

cheers man, not sure what you mean my max ec level? Or do you mean what's the max she can handle? Yeah if I got 10-11 ounces. I'd be happy

What i mean by the MAX is EC

Is i like to build mine up in veg from like 1.0 to 1.8Max
Then in flower 1.8 - 2.2 is my max level that i will push my plants and if its over that by 0.4 when i i check the run off i flush

Sorry bro my grammar is shit at the best of times so sometimes my shit don't make sense

Just to note my water is from the Tap and on my EC is 0.5 and that is included in EC levels above ^^

Cheers bro, that makes sense. My tap water after I ph it, reads 0 EC. Is this normal?

I think I need to flush more out of mine.

This is the first grow I've really tested run off. Now I can see how important it is. No wonder my previous plants were going yellow around week 6-7. I still managed decent harvests but.

Really 0.... really that's odd has your tap got a filter on it or something... ?

Yeah Flushing is the key to every good grow because most problems come from lock out or build up even if your plant looks awesome its still best to check the run off and make sure its going to stay that way

Also we are all learning here and the people on here that think they know it all are dreaming thinking your the best only limits yourself

Like my brother his been growing for along time and you would think he would have his shit perfect but he got lazy and has been doing shit for over the last year
and is now asking me for info

When i first about this time last year he was trying to help after one week of the clones looking dead i stopped doing what he said did my own research and now yielding 10OZ+ more per swing with the same set up and same lighting

Yes i spend a lot of time with my girls making sure everything is going good and pay more for my nutrients

where he just sets and forgets gets cheap nutrients i just told him you get out what you put in you look after them and they will reward you

That's how i see it Anyway looking forward to the next update

Yeah it's real odd I checked it again and it was 0. I don't have a filter on it.

I know what you mean. When I lived in the uk my grows were complete shit to what I do now. Mostly from researching and otherwise from good folks like yourself.

Make your mix up keep flushing till your run off is the same level then next feed
1/2 then back up to pull should be fine

How is the drainage .... is the water coming out fast... or really slow ?

If the holes are the bottom of the pot are not that big the nutrients will just seat around down the bottom and this is why your run off might still be high

Cheers man, I use a massive barrel to mix my nutes so I flushed about 10L through of just plain ph water at 6.4 and got 20% run off that read an EC level of 1.35.

So I mixed up some nutes in the remaining 15L of ph water I had (re adjusted the water to ph 6.5) and EC 1.25 and got about 30% run off which had a ph level of 5.9 and EC of 1.2.

As the ph level is lower in the run off, does that mean I should maybe increase the ph on the next feed?

I'm watering every three days. And room temps light on vary from 25-28.5c and humidity normally sits around 45-55%. Lights off however as it's getting hotter sit around 22-24c and humidity around 50%. I wonder with the warm lights off temps will cause an issue?

Having said all that, I see the lights on today with the avo heat hit 29.8c, but then has dropped back down.
