Firefox would not let me upload anything to my last post so I'm retyping it up.

I started my grow two weeks ago today 2/23.I have my plants in a 30 or so gallon tub in my closet with tinfoil lining the inside of it. I put the gro light you get at walmart across the top. I noticed the light seemed a bit reddish to me so I got a 100 watt cfl in daylight (6500k). This is right above the plants. I planted them in ziplock containers with holes in the bottom and with miracle gro soil.

I have started to use miracle grow plant food (24/8/16). I know a lot of people dont like it but its all I could get and im using the tiniest bit.

The plants are kept at a constant 83 F however the first week i didnt think to up the temp and they sat at 65. The lights are on 24/7. My only problem at this point is it seems the leaves on some of the plants are twisting or curling down. I am hoping its a nut deficiency and that will get corrected but if you know what it is, I would love to hear it.

Looking good, how high is your growlight above your plants? if it's too close that could be the reason why some of the leaves are curling up.

Also you probably don't want to use transparent containers because the roots are exposed to light.
There isn't much, if any evidence that this harms the plant's growth. Tons of avid growers use clear containers to see the roots in the cups so they know when to transplant.

<use another colored cup as a cover to shield your roots from lights but when you want to see them you remove the shield>
"remember to cut out the bottom of the colored cup though"

i keep the light about 5 inches above the plants and the leaves are curling down. Ill also cover the pots just in case and see what happens. but thanks for your comments.

o and you should swap out that tinfoil with an emergency blanket if you can....tinfoil=no good, emergency blankets are like 2 dollars at the store found in the camping section
