Soooooo, my friend Elvis is about to start his 1st grow and wanted some questions asked, so i decided to post on his behalf.
A Little Bit About His Setup:
He will be growing in a small setup around 4 feet high, 5 feet wide, 3 feet deep.
This grow space will be sealed 24/7 apart from opening to water/feed/train the plants.
He plans to purchase an LED light setup which he has seen first hand working perfectly with few a amount of plants, which is fine as he is only planning on growing one or 2 plants using the SCROG method.
Now, his questions....
He has read lots about the SCROG method but doesnt fully understand it. He wants to know if Topping/Fiming is needed and when it should be done? Does it need to be done to every top that comes through the Screen?
Another problem he is having is a Co2 supply, as the grow space will be sealed most of the time. He has read a little on Fermentation of Yeast to produce the Co2, but does not know the ratio of Yeast to Sugar/Glucose?
He will most likely be using a Demijohn to mix the yeast and pipe it into the grow space, But he is not sure if there should be any filters or whether piping it straight in will be too much Co2 that it will kill the plants...?
Remember he is all new to this and is an ABSOLUTE beginner, so try hold back on the sarcastic replies
