First time grow with mr. Growpro

Well here it is just came in today. Thing is pretty well build with no light leaks except from the back fans. The carbon filter doesn't look like its going to do mutch but when it is on it blocks I would say 98% of the light. All in all I would say pretty stealthy.

There are 4 cfl sockets on a power strip with 2 earth magnets taped to the back. All 3 fans are also wired into power strip.

Over all pretty impressed with it. It is pretty tall and long with the pot I am using about 21" or grow space.

Can definitely used a carbon filter up grade when flowering comes and the lining can be a little tighter but over all very happy with the purchase.

Here is an update:

24 hrs after putting the Pakistan valley seed in the paper towel it's cracked and already has a nice tail. Then I phed some bottled water, soaked some rock wool in it then put the baby in it with the tap roots own.

Also I germed the second freebie seed because my mentor told me its always good to have a back up plan.

I'm always up for another PC Grow.
That box looks killer, looks like you got lotsa room in there too.
Will be tagging along for this one, good luck man!

I wouldn't fret at all about her colour at this stage, you're just getting that edgy super-cautiousness, that we all get at the beginning. Get her into the pot, and in a few days you'll see her rise from the dirt and show you the beginning of something awesome. Everything looks *perfect* at the moment. Enjoy!!

i really like it alot, all 3 fans are very quite and the box is staying in an air conditioned room so temps shouldn't be an issue. How are the LEDs working for you?

i am still stuck as to what to pot her in. I want to use up as much space as possible for growth so I kinda want something that will take up the whole bottom and is shallow. If you look at my box is came with a small Tupperware container and I was thinking about taping itso light can't get in and using that...... Any thoughts or comments on that?

Dude, here's what I did. It worked a treat for me, and I'm thinkin the pot is probably pretty easy to obtain.

I got a bit creative for ya, to try and explain.

If you look at my setup, you can see how snuggly the pot fits into the case. Using up pretty much every inch possible.
Ignore the scrog wire, I ditched that idea early on, those are now LST tie points.

Hope this helps.

that pot idea is kick ass mewk!!!

but anyway aha the leds are awesome grows some nice dark green leaves in the fox farms soil they are in.
im just using i think they are maybe like 6oz pots or something not sure big enough to be alive for 2 or so months.
i have a few different choices though.
i have a tupperware thing like that also, the fabric grow bags so i have a few choices along with the ones im using now.they fit super good on the bottom.thats why i chose them first.
hmmm.

Yes mewk that is a solid idea! I have one laying around my basement so I will deff be testing that out. Thank you for such a detailed explanation too I bet that helps many people who Check this out!

And yeah kook mind came with the fabric bags too. I just think they are a little to tall and take up alot of grow space. They seem perfect for a cab or small tent grow. Another question about your growpro kook , do you use the shortty carbon filter that it came with? I am seriously doubting its usefulness....

Here is a little update:

4 days from taking it out of the paper towel. She is growing fast so I need to transplant here ASAP!

Question.... How long can she stay on just the rockwool?

if you fold the bags down more they become shorter thats what i did they get fatter though hhaa if that makes sense
im just using them for my outdoor op i have some clones going in them aswell.
the carbon filter seems okay i dont really have to worry about smell cuz my room always smells of the great herb scent anyway haha.
im just using to block light out on there sleepy time.

could you transplant the hole rockwool into soil what would happen?
