First time grower here.... one odd lady question...

Long time smoker, first time grower here. The wife wanted a graden and I said what the heck. I mixed in a few plants for me lol.. Im using bag seed, not even that great of stuff. Ive got past sexing part. Got lucky only 1 male out of 4 seeds started. My girls went into flowering about 2 weeks ago. Funny but I was able to spot the male 3 weeks ago and ripped it out. Now for my question. Out of the 3 girls, one of them has been yellowing for about 3 weeks now. Im doing nothing high tech. Regular potting soil and Im using a generic fertilizer 6-10-10. Any ideas why my one looks like this? Should I worry? Can I fix it. This baby is 6ft tall! I would hate to lose her. Also included a few other pics of the others. How do I look so far?

Not an outdoor grower, take with grain of salt. Looks like certain parts of the plant not getting enough sun. How can u flower in August.
What part of world are u growing? the plants don't look to bad.

Im in Ohio. The plants know the days are getting shorter. While it may not be the perfect 12/12 you get indoors. They have kicked into flowering with the shorter days. Its about 10 hours of darkness right now.

Light isnt causing my problem. That one gets the most light of the three. Thats how I think it got so much taller than the others. The others are about 4 ft high.

Almost forgot. I started the first week of May so they have had 14 weeks of veg growth. Not sure if that makes a difference. Will they also flower after a period of time?

I have a 30-10-10 Miricale Grow for Azaleas. Would that be better? The first number is the N right?

Yes, it's N-P-K and that miracle grow may work but be very careful with it as it can easily nute burn your plants as its quite a strong dosage and product that's not meant for Cannabis

Thanks for the help guys. I think I will try a 3/4 dose with the next feeding. This has been a blast! Already planning my 2nd grow. I will be going indoors after this harvest. Ohio is just to risky outdoors. Short grow season and "the man" is always out to get ya. I realize I been kinda stupid. But Im this far along, Im in till the end. Im reading your journals Weedoozie. Great stuff! My next grow will be better planned like yours. I just wish I kept a better journal like you. I didnt start taking pics till July. I went low tech because I read sooooo much before I did it my head was spinning. I said I just gotta do it and then worry about making it better next time. I used the common sense keeping plants alive knowlage I have and I think its going great so far. My big worry was telling the sex this time. I got past that no worries. So even though I used common brick bag seeds at least it will be sensi! Next time I plan on bag seed again but Im going to focus more on the science now. Cloning will be my next big step. Gotta try it so I can force flower some of the clones to eliminate males quickly. Space is limited in my basement.

Just wanted to thank you all again. I used the MG 30-10-10 stuff I had. I did one feeding at 1/2 and then one at full strenght 5 days apart, there was a rainfall in between. After 6 or 7 days I noticed dead brown spots on the yellow leaves. I stopped all nutes figuring I nute burned them. None of the yellow leaves have recovered but all new growth is healthy and green. Also the spread of the yellowing has stopped. My gals have really taken off! 2 are pushing 6ft and 1 is almost 7ft! Budding like crazy. I was hoping for a pound total when I started this many months ago. I think Im going to blow that total away! Figure I got another 4-5 weeks to go. Here are some updated pics....

Thanks. Here is a question. The 6-10-10 stuff I was using is in pellet form and mixed into the soil. I did this once a month per the box. Time release? So when I added the liquid MG 30-10-10 was I really then at 36-20-20? If so would I be ok just to mix more pellets in as it is time again, then add 1/2 strenght liquid MG 15-5-5 to get it up to 21-15-15? Dont really plan on buying any more nutes this grow as in 2 or 3 weeks I will begin flushing with just plain water. I know they dont need that much N now and more P & K for flowering but would I be good enough? Also anyone got any guess as to strain of my plants? Indica, sativa? I will be using the same seeds for my second grow indoors prolly start early next year.

Me I would stop feeding now. They look like a stativa cross . Indica would have much longer bottom branching. Hope this helps! I have better yields with Indica indoors and it blooms faster.

I would say its safe to stop nuts but you should add molassis or sucanat to your water to give them some carbs just started using sucanat myself and buds have swelled almost 2x size in a week :D and I never recommend mg but most people I've come across who use it say they only use about 1/4 strength

Thanks for the tip. Your not the first person to tell me this. I think Im gonna give it a try the last couple weeks here. You do the molasses up till the end? I wouldnt think you would want to flush it. Little sweet taste cant hurt.

Nutes till about the 6th week of flower. Be very careful with the azalea food. Azaleas like a low Ph and that food is formulated to lower soil Ph to accommodate Azaleas, Rhododendrons, Camellias and such. Molasses works well outdoors, but attracts ants, so be ready for em. A natural barrier to them is chalk dust spread at the base of the foundation. They usually wont cross it. If you buy the stuff at Lowes you get the added bonus of a dayglo stripe around your house. Your wife should love that!

Im just gonna ditch the MG, do the pellets one more time as they are for the rest of the garden. Im going to start the molasses today. Im not too worried about ants. I have a problem with them every year around my deck and comming in the house. I toss a few bait traps and spray around the deck yearly. It keeps them at bay. My graden is up against the deck so maybe I will spray one more time around this year. But I havent seen any since may. I post some more pics in a week or two and give everyone an update.
