First time grower, not knowing if this is big or if im overreacting.

Does the seed separating from taproot in soil mean my plant will stop growing?

Me and my GF are currently on our first grow and ive come to the realization i plated my seeds to deep. Eagerly i went to my pot and without actually touching the seed or taproot used the end of a pen loosened the soil and brought the taproots seeds to .5 inch under soil. My question is, 2 of the seeds were already separated from the taproots in soil but they were still growing, the roots are around 1-2 inches for those and were about half an inch when when planted 2 days ago.

should my plants still be fine? im worried because the seeds and taproot separated while in the soil, im pretty sure i didn't break it but it naturally separated, is it broken or is that natural? will the taproot keep growing out without the seed still attached to the other end? im worried and i cant find out online.

(kush, 2 of my GF Blackberry kush plants have sprouted and none of my feminized white widow has sprouted, so i guess im a little jealous of her plants progress.

WTF? Leave the things alone. Despite your help they should survive. If you stop helping now.

I would always start 50% more seeds than you need.
Some will just not sprout. Some will sprout and then be deformed. Some will sprout grow great and then be male. Some will be great up until finish and then it tastes like shit even though you cured it perfectly, or they could be infested with bugs and mold and nute burn.
I'm on my sixth grow and just burnt this piss and vinegar out of my SSHaze in amended soil.

They call it weed for a reason. The less you mess with it the better it grows!
Good luck!

You are NOT an idiot just very excited, after all you did mention that this is your first grow . I understand the excitement entirely but like our friends mentioned, don't help too much. Resist the urge to "help" and you will be golden. I had started a bunch of L. A Cheese on a damp paper towel folded up. They were in a warm dark place for less than a day and a half , sprouted and grew like 1.5 inches in that short time. I unfolded it quickly and tore most of the bottom third of their taproots off. Planted them up anyway and they grew great, just a little slow at first. But I did learn a lot that day lol
