First time growing

I am sad to say that my grow will end after only 4 weeks of flowering. All of my fan leaves shrivled up and died. I must harvest now in order to save any of it.

Not true. I presume it was heat stress? Let them finish.

How did you grow plants without any branches?

Unintentionally!!!!!:wall:

I think that I am going to let them finish or try to. When the symptoms first appeared I gave them a flushing with the hose straight. Then with 10 L of water PHed to 6.2. With the addition of my hacked job "stained glass" hood cooler i have been at temps 82-84. with just a 50 cfm bathroom fan and 3" duct. So I ended up buying a stanley blower and used a sunny d jug to reduce the rectangle end to 3". I will see how the temps go tomorrow.

Either way I will have smokeable bud from the whole ordeal, I am smoking some of my green right now. I really hope they pull through cuz I am high from my early trimings of the bad looking buds and I am normally smoking $60 an eight shit so bonus for me.

I am currently revamping my cabinet and will be adding a new and improved flower chamber. It will be taller to accomidate sativias since that is what I would like to grow.

I figure that you can make a sativia hit you like an indica but not so much vice versa. High vs Stoned.

Any ways thanks for the encouragement. This has definately been a learning experience and since it was bag seed all that is really lost is some electricity and alot of potential.

Hey there, you've piqued my interest. What do you mean by this? I'm not trying to be argumentative or something, I'm just totally curious.

Just a thought after reading up on curing times. When the trichs are mostly cloudy not so much amber there are higher levels of THC thanthen CBNs when you miss your mark the THC turns into CBN/Ds there for more "lawn chair high" <---rehab song or couch lock type. I like the buzzy high cuz I get more shit done. So if I finish earlier I may not have as many Canabinoids but I hive higher levels of thc maybe not the most pontent but not sitting me down for the day. Thats just my opinion I do not know it to be fact please correct me if I am wrong would not want to spread misinformation on.

Ten days ago I almost chopped my ladies down due to stress and heat that nearly killed them. I now have most of my pistils turning red an many of my trichs cloudy.

The girls have inproved over the last 10 days. They had many flushings a batch of 1/4 nutes and Overdrive.

I also built a dryer and have it vented into the smell chamber to mask the odor of drying bud.

I am only harvesting 2 of my girls today because they looked really ready and I want to reuse the soil so that I can get to work on my continuous cycle. It looked good tasted good and got me stoned on tests.

The last three ladies in flower will prolly get another week or two.

Can I do the pinch and bend method with only 2 weeks left or would it defeat the purpose?

Some pics and I will post again with the final harvest.

I used a 110 axial fan and a light bulb on a dimmer. I have the incoming air set to 28c. The dimmer is like a thermostat but you have to mess with it a bit. Will see how it dries. I think 2 days then into some jars kind of a hybrid curing. Just got an eight of some dank nugs so that should last me till then and give me some patience to cure.

Good stuff... nice little haul you got there from those two little girls. That's a nice looking bud in the third picture (the big bud).

I like the dry box... I just made something out of a little cardboard box today. It's the same idea as yours but very lame.

Do you know what strain these are.... are they bagseed?

I wouldn't think doing anything like bending them at this point would do any good. I would just leave them myself.

Not to sure on the strain. Was some stuff a biker grew outdoors and was full of seeds. Good shit though bought 1.5oz for $100 rolled Js the whole way through. prolly have 100 seeds still so thats reassuring for future grows.

I think i should start a thread with my ladies offspring.
