First Time Hydro

Herro everyone, I am a first time hydro grower with a DIY setup... Everything seems to be going well, even though my setup is far from done. While I build a new 10x16 building for my growing I am using what I have.

Nutrients:

• FloraMicro [5-0-1]
• FloraGro [2-1-6]
• FloraBloom [0-5-4]
• Liquid KoolBloom [0-10-10]
• Floralicious Plus [2-0.8-0.02]
• FloraBlend [0.5-1-1]
• MaxiBloom [5-15-14]
• Orca (Mycorrhizae with Beneficial Bacteria)
• SuperThrive (Intake enhancer)

Running:

• 10 Gallon DIY Tank (7 Gallons of water inside)
• 600w LED Full spectrum light
• Carbon intake 6''
• Fan for air on plants
• Heat controlled
• Air pump and 2 airstones (Changed out every 7 days)
• 6 Plants
• 10 Gallon DIY Reservoir tank (Cooled, stand alone air pump and 2 airstones, pump circulating solution 24/7)
• 6 way split for drip feeding every 4 hours for 6 secs
• Check water level everyday, adding fresh water when a little low.

Temps 68-72
Humidity around 49%
PH 5-6

hi how are you toady? The super thrive is not vitamins bud, its a system by where the plant can take in more nutrients, just fyi, cause its touted as a vitamin and it is not. Everything else looks like a good setup.

Ah, I didn't know that about SuperThrive, do you think I should still use it?

Totally up to you the wife used to use it and still does when we remember to buy it, but we just use it to help the plants up take nutrients if they need help, otherwise its kind of a waste. Your plants look good, I would up the NPK though your only running a 14 for N, they want a little more it looks like. MD

What would you recommend?

I really cant answer that, I run in soil exclusively but I am sure some hydro guys will pop in and recommend something for you, I just wouldnt want to steer you wrong when all looks so good.

Like I use Jacks Classic 20-20-20 it is water soluable but I dont know if it clogs up hydro systems, and in bloom I use MaxSea seaweed based blend, it says its water souluable too but it's got particles that could clog something lol, so I am not trying to not help just dont want to screw your setup up basically lol.

MD, found some Jacks that is used for hydro and added it. Sunday will mark 1 weeks of bloom, starting to see little hairs.

Cool, good deal they love the Jacks classic. Next feeding switch to bloom nutrients then if your see hairs, lower N but not 0, the MaxSea I use is 3-20-20 for reference, and with Kelp / Fish Juice it brings it up to around 5-20-20.

@RM3 uses Jack's Citrus. He loves the effect of the sulfur content.

Also, this is going to be a stupid question, but, my plants are tall as fuck lol, I know I switched to bloom, but I still have a couple weeks of them growing, I should be ok right? I can't crop them anymore correct?

Yes, that is the initial sign of flowering.

If they aren't autos, technically you can. I take clones in the second week of flower to monster crop them. Can you raise your lights? Maybe add the second one?

I have the lights raised lol, I can also drop the box to the ground, but I like the idea of cloning them next week.

Do you have Clonex? It's the only thing I use that isn't organic. Shit just works best.
