Good luck with your wife man. Hopefully all goes well.

Your grow is coming along nicely. The taller, skinnier leaf plants are usual signs of a sativa dominant plant. Indica dominant are short and bushy as you described so it looks like you got a nice mixture of both. As far as the leaves go, its hard to tell from the pics, but are the leaves that are curling close to the CFLs hanging? Looks to me like a little bit of heat stress. Also not sure if you just watered but your ladies look a little over saturated. They are drooping a little but all in all are looking great. Really green and vibrant. Keep a close eye out for males. You should be getting good signs of sex about now. Keep it green! :weed: BG

Yea, I just watered them 10 minutes before the pic. I am averaging every 3 days............... water with nutes, 3 days later, water without nutes, ect.I just moved the cfls back about 6 inches. And, the thermometer I use has 2 temp gauges. One built into the unit, and one with a wire and sensor thats like 10 foot long ( for indoor, outdoor temps ) I took the one and draiped it over so it was touching the leaf closest to the cfl, and it only hit 84 degrees. As for the drooping, they only do that when they are thirsty, it seems. Now, tomorrow the will be sticking straight out again. Never followed this closely with the full, daily, development of my plants. Normally,I fem them at about a month after sprout, around mid July I sex em, and move the males, and come back in October to harvest ( We have a copter happy sheriff here where i live ). So, maybe just paranoid. A watched "pot" never boils ! LOL And they are all females, just hard to see from a shitty camera. Cant get it to focus well enough. Thanks for the following, now time for me to check up on yours ! LOL

Ha ha just making sure. You don't want to ruin all that hard work with just one male. That is what I thought was the cause to your droopiness. That is quite strange for them to be curling up if its only 84 degress. Seems to have me scratching my head now. Can't pin point whats wrong. Maybe better pics would help ;) Anyways good job so far man. +rep if i can again. The only difference between me and you is I feed her with nutes every watering. Just a very small dosage.

I experimented last night and mixed some vegging nutes with bloom boost and used more water last night. Woke up this morning and all my leaves have straightened out. No more curling. No nute burn. Just big, healthy, green girls!

As you can see, growing nicely, but at least 3 different strains. The short, stalky one, is a brute. The other one thats real tall and sickly looking just started getting hairs on it 2 days ago, while the rest had hairs 3 weeks ago. And, the other 2, they are gonna be nice. But the main colas, the buds one them, are only about the size of pencil erasers. Any idea what I can do to make em bigger, or could it just be the strain and time that it will take for them to mature? I have am using 4 t5 42 watt flouresent tubes, 8 26 watt cfls, and a 70 watt HPS bulb. 446 total watts .

Your plants are so big and lush. Hopefully they will grow you nice big buds. :weed: It could be the strain but they could also be lacking nutes. How often are you feeding them and what with?? I believe we are in the same time frame of flower so be patient. The last 3 days these things exploded. So it could be the strain. I know my baby can be 3 different strains. Master kush, headband or blue dream

I was feeding them FF every other feeding, but just stepped up to everyfeeding and noticed them starting to thrive. So, I think you were right.............lacking nutes. I had a mixture of bag seed, and I know some of the seeds I had were G13, but not sure if I was able to be lucky enough to get one of those in the soil on this one. But I was reading that they are not technically in the flowering stage till they show sex. So, if thats the case, mine are only 2 and 1/2 weeks into flowering. Any truth behind that?

I guess it's really the growers input. I consider myself flowering from the time I switched to 12/12. I didn't see signs of sex till about 10 days after she went into flower. So about April 14th was when I was for sure she was a female. FF full line have been working wonders for me. Next grow I'm gonna add Cha ching, and beastie bloomz so I'll keep you posted on how those worked for me.

No doubt, Bird! It just looks like I will be harvesting all 4 plants at different times. Fine by me. LOL My other girl is outside in the ground and she is already about 3 and 1/2 foot tall, but putting her out there put her back into veg. I started re-fimming her some more, and gonna pull clones from her in about a month so I can keep the cycle going about every 10 - 12 weeks for harvesting. Then come July, I will pull another clone from her and bring that one inside and keep her as the mother. The reason why? My dude i get my trees from, grows his own. And the girl outside, he has confirmed, is G-13 !!!!! Man, did I luck out. I just have to give him a few clones off of her. LOL. But he thinks that his got cross pollinated with some Northern Lights strain from a male he didnt catch in time, hence, how I got the seeds. He said my girl is carrying both characteristics from both strains. So I need to dial my girls in that I have now; lights, nutes, soil, ventilation, ect. Ordering some HPS, 2 400 watters with more FF. But, I have noticed one thing though......all my main colas are bending towards my cfl's instead of the 70 watt HPS I have? Odd ?!?!?!!? I am so stoked to see what those will be like come mid-August when I start the new strain. I am building my screen now for scrogging for this second grow. And, Bird.........I have checked out a bunch of other LSTings on RIU, and yours, by far, looks like the least stressed and healthiest I have seen. So, kudos to you man. Excellent work !!!!!!

Things are looking up for you now aren't they?? Ha ha good luck with that g13. I am pretty sure that is a haze so be ready for it to grow quite tall. Did you start your plants under the 70w hps since flowering or did you add that in once it started? I ask because somebody on here warned me that if the plants aren't used to that hps intensity it can stress your plants and stunt their growth.

That'll be amazing once you get those 400 watters. If you can afford 2 400w you should look into getting top of the line. I would go with a 600w san agro light. Suppose to be a little more intense and is the closest light that imitates the sun. So I'd look into that if you are going to go with big lights. Thanks alot for that comment. I really wish I would of started the LST alot sooner to maximize my yield. But I am liking it so far. Seems like every day the cola gets fatter and fatter :weed:

Yea, I was using the HPS from the start of 12/12 cycle. I am in the midst of setting up another room cause I am running outta room! Now, I do have a temp. question. Lights off, I hit no lower that 55 degrees. Lights on, no higher than 75 degrees. I have a themometer at the tallest cola, and its at 80 degrees. Humidity is maintaining at 50%. Am I running consistent enough temps and humidity? I have noticed a little bit of purple, on just one of the plants in the leaf stem. just the leaf stem and its at every other node. Any ideas whats causing this? I thought maybe the cooler temps. But for now, like I said, I am starting on a new room to finish this grow off. Then I can have one for the mother and clones for vegging, and the other for flowering. I just have that one plant thats about 3 foot tall and kinda sparce, and its, just a week ago, getting hairs on it. It will take me a month to fully harvest all 4 plants cause of the difference of when they are going to be fully matured. Its just weird, cause I started them all at once. I would love to stunt the taller ones growth, (height) but dont know if I should just leave em go? But, having fun none the less.

Being this far along I would just let them grow. I had a similar question when I started my flower period. If was the beginning of flowering I would say do a slight bend but DONT do it in your situation. Just let those babies grow! :) That is quite the range in temps. Fellow growers have told me to not let it drop more then 15 degrees then when the lights are off from the temp they are when they are on. (sounded weird lol) Anyways you should see some purple in your bud and that is probably the reason why you have had a slow start to flowering. I've read in many books that the IDEAL temperature is 68-80 so anything in between that is perfect. Hope that helps man. Any more questions feel free to ask.

Thanks, Bird. Just gonna let em do their thing and see what happens. I did start a late LSTing though just for height sake to bide me more time.

No problem man. Glad to help! If I were you I would figure a way to better insulate your room so you don't have such a great temperature drop. Besides that everything sounds good. Can't wait to see pics of your girls and the one with the slight bend. Good luck!

well, here is the new deal..............4 150 watt HPS, 8 43 watt cfl 2700k, 4 T-5 flouresents for a grand total of roughly 75,000 lumens and almost 1000 watts of total lighting. Noticed a difference already in the bud sites and they havent stretched anymore. Thanks for all the help guys, i will be posting pics in a few days to show the difference. Once again, thanks all who helped. Got so excited about it, I think I may have overwatered them  but they will be fine. LOL

Sorry about some of the sideways pics. LOL Anyways, I have the 150 watters in a square up top, fully adjustable. The t-5s, standing vertical in the corners, and the cfls in the middle ends for side lighting, just like the t-5's. Every day I rotate the plants 1/2 turn and every 4 days now, rotate the plants themselves. Since I put them up, the girls are EXPLODING. Thanks again for the input, guys.

They are looking nice and green. Your plants might be stressed from all those new lights though. The budsites look really small compared to mine and you have 4 times the lights of mine.

They have been that way for awhile. Thats why I added the lights. Been 3 days now, and they are really improving.
