First Time intentionally breeding seeds

I put two large males into a 45 gallon smart pot and grew them out until the pods were almost about to burst, then took them to another area of the house where i had three large females starting to bud, i cut the males off from the bottom and just shook the hell out of the pollen onto the buds.

Now, I wasn't really sure what was going to happen.

The next few days however, some of the white hairs started to turn brown and red, so I knew that they took. at least some of them, i thought i was going to get, i dont know, a few hundred seeds?

looks like i have a few thousand! teeeheeee~~~

Nice! I cut a male and literally flogged a female plant with it once, I got approximately 2000 seeds out of a small 3 foot plant. What genetics are you crossing?

i would say you will get 1000+

If you want to control it better, next time cut them and shake them into a plastic bag and just paint it on the buds you want to pollenate, then you can save it for future pollenations with different strains.

Put a bed sheet on the floor and put a fan on it. Drop the seeds in front of the fan. The seed will spread out on the bed sheet. If you look you can see where the chaff an lighter seed have fallen farther away from the fan. Collect the good seeds and compost the rest.

Gunna be a few moths till you can use that house to grow seedless again.....

Now that’s an oh shit moment right there!

There are quite a few workable ways to fert some buds, I started to pollinate limited number of buds ( like on JUST one branch lower buds) . Before you start turn off all fans in your grow. After transferring pollen to a sheet of baby-blue construction paper (to contrast with the yellow pollen) in a coverable plastic tote, so you can carry it into grow room without pollinating everything, dab onto white hairs with model brush. Label individual branch If smoking good stuff.

I don't mind a very few rogue seeds. but dont get carried away with that thought.
