first time recieving a clone when add ferts

i just got a jamaican skunk clone from a buddy. i have always started seeds, never grew from clones yet. it was rooted in to a party cup. i transplanted it into a 5 gal. bucket with a mix of bag soil, pig shit, and perilite. when should i start fertilizer regimen. i have water saluable 15-30-15. i start feeding my seeds 3 weeks after sprouting with a 25% of recomended fert. but i know clones are healthier than seedlings.....any suggestions

I don't really have much experience with clones but I remember reading that when the roots are about the same length or double the size of the clone is a good time to start adding nutes..?? Not sure how accurate that is but maybe start giving it a light feed a week or so after you put it in soil..
