First time soil already problems!

Ok so I have 4 young ladies under a 400w hps.. this one is the most mature, but it is starting to get yellow from the bottom up and even some decay.

I have it FFOF and have been watering with RO water every 3-4 days. I do not have nutes included yet nor and CalMag since I ran out. I was thinking it could be linked to cal deficiency, but I am unsure since this is only my second grow and first time in soil.

Maybe tap water would be better?

Heres a pic.. If you could give me a hint on what to change I would love to hear it.

Thanks much

This is gonna sound stupid, but here it goes - I haven't been able to check ph for these first 2 weeks due a couple problems. I only have pool ph strips for hydro (last grow) not soil ones yet, but I assumed FFOF would be able to buffer the ph long enough especially with only RO water. This could also be an issue, I have been trying to get ahold of a ph stick for awhie now.

The best advice is the advice I feel you already know. Balance the pH. Add CaliMag to your RO. Appears micronute. If you are worried now.... fill up a bucket with 90% RO water and add 10% tap to it. Let that sit for around 30 min to help dissipate the chloride gas... and there you have RO water fitted with some Micronutes to fix things up a bit. Foliar with a bit of CaliMag as well. 2-3ml per 2 L should do fine. Don't over do it as it can burn the plant.

add sum happy frog all purpose as a top dressing it has a good source of calcium in it along with other nutes and mycorrhizae, keep feeding with r/o and once they get alittle bigger try giving them 1tsp per gal of water of un-sulphured molasses, or the Cal mag can be a option, couple drops in a gallon of water should do fine

if you havent checked/tested pH for some time, could be lock-out, so get that right or it wont matter how much cal mag you add, plant wont be able to uptake it. might need a flush before adding anymore nutes?
