First time winterizing BHO (Pics of process in thread)

Starting material was about 200g of stems and trim of true blue mixed with green crack

I ran it through extraction tubes using butane as the first solvent and ended up with about 10g of material. Very low yield I know but the material was not that abudant in THC since it was mostly stems. Atleast the material turned out gold-ish

True Blue x Green Crack:

I dissolved about 5g in everclear 150 proof since I couldn't get my hands on any 190, and the other half in 91% iso because 150 didn't seem to be dissolving my wax fast enough.

Everclear:

Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a picture of the ISO dissolving since I didn't think I was going to be making this thread at the time.

I let the everclear drain for about 20 hours until everything was dissolved and I could see the milky lipids and waxes.

This is the everclear after I drained it

Transferred it onto a waterbath @ 95-100F constantly and let it evap for a couple of hours

I scraped that and put it into the vac purge at 100F for another hour or so.

This is the end product and I can definitely say I can taste and feel the smoothness more

Will be updating this post with more pics of the ISO run!

Nice, what was your ending weight? Looks like great smoke.
The everclear gave me a 3g return but I smoked about 2g of it already haha. It is! I can 100% positively say that winterizing does enhance your medicine and provides a smooth smoke.

I'm waiting on the ISO half of the batch and I also just dissolved some Platinum Kush nug run I did a couple of weeks ago that I had sitting around. I think initial input of the PK was 10.5g for this run.
