I have recently just found mites for the first time and am about to begin treatment. After doing quite a bit of reading througout this forum, it seems that people are very favorable towards spraying the plants with neem oil. I was just wondering where to buy it, what quantities to make the solution, or any special instructions for using the oil in ridding the mites. I have never had pests or battled pest before, so any input is appreciated.

I dont know wher you can get it .. or how to mix it .. thanks God I never had em (indoors)

but I know neem oil is a old treatment used for decades .. mostly to prevent pests I belive ..

but yea seems like its what Ppl. use so I bet its working ..

tho most places I have read about mites I also notice Ppl. cant get ride of em 100% .. just need to keep the problem down untill haverst and then make a REALY good clean up of your room .. then leave it for a few days and do it agin (I reccon like with human lies as the eggs hacs)

good luck ..

Neem oil ca be purchased at any indoor grow shop or online. Mixing instructions are on the bottle. I've used it and it didn't work I 've also used Mighty Wash which can be purchased on line and it didn't work either the mites just kept coming back, my advice use an insecticide.

Treat them fast ,they multiply very fast.Ive used No pest strips, works everytime, easy to use,you can get them at home depot, garden centers. They are toxic though ,so you dont want them in a area where people can breathe them in,I just left them in for about 1 week and half,it worked perfect, they break down after a while ,so dont leave them in through the whole grow and the toxicicity will be gone.I never had any issues in the end product. The eggs hatch after a week or so,so keep an eye out after you do treat them. You need to have the room sealed for the strips to work,so I just kept them in during lights off, with no venting.

some sprays work, neem oil doesnt do shit if you already have them. only one Ive seen kill on contact is Liquid ladybug. killed mine, hasnt been an issue since. straight nuked those fuckers

Neem oil won't get rid of spider mites...

I used Azamax, and Avid...and between the 2 seem to have gotten them...

Oh and get some sort of Silica supplement, like Dyna Gro Protekt. Keeps your plants from being super super damaged by the mites.

This is my first year Mite free. I think it was using a very warm neem water mixture so the neem mixes well.

I got AVID and used it, its deadly poison to humans.
In a few days I had mites again! I sprayed again (Big no no) makes super mites that cant die.

Then with just a few mites I got a gallon of neem for $100 and mixed it one oz per gallon.

I sprayed every 3 days, some times once a week.

I have no mites.

Today I sprayed with neem, still nothing.

Im out of neem,

Trick is use 50/50 hot water with cold water and dish soap so the neem melts really good into the water and shake the spray tank a few times.

You can knock them down with neem but yes its to prevent.

I think my luck was that avid keeps working for a few weeks and when any eggs hatch the neem just wiped them out.

Just spray neem every few days then your killing every generation of eggs and eventually even neem will work.

Never had to open my Floromite.

You might try combo of Azomax day one, neem day 3, neem day 6 neem day 9 then azomax day 12.
IF you have mites they are there somewhere you missed the spray. Take it all the way to harvest with Azomax that dissipates withn 24 hours and has no taist.

Get AVID from ebay and get a hazmat suit and gloves, boots, mask.
