lookin good man, what are your temps in there?

High 70's to maybe max 80. Temps been fine. I think my main problem has been PH flux and nute burn. I have never cleaned out the res. There are so many roots entangled everywhere. Its all around the airstone. So i have a bit of salt deposit i imagine.

Dude, that's massive. Nice work!!! I would go ahead and clean the res out, don't wanna have any problems later on when your finishing.

Ok First picture, is of main cola. It looks not to be ready. But these other ones look like they are very close. Does it matter if they have white pistels when you harvest? Or do you always look just at the trichs? I will be taking samples today to view through a binocular microscope. I just don't wanna harvest to late. I am getting all nervous.

I figure i will do that flush this weekend Fox when i have the time. Just gonna have to figure out how to untangle the roots. You are correct it really needs to be cleaned.

Anyhow if some of you guys think its time to flush let me know. I will report back with what i find today looking through a highpower scope.

you could try harvesting a small bud to test it out?
It might be a bit harsh from lack of flushing, but you might get a sense of how close the plant is...

I've been following this thread for a min, and that's a nice lookin plant you have goin. None of the lowryder i ever did got anywhere close to that big under cfl's. Also the lowryder and all of the other autoflowering strains i've done i used a 20/4 photoperiod, and they started flowering in the first month, and were completely done in 6-8 weeks(seed to harvest). Those were also all organic soil grows. Your plant looks great though. If thats really an AF strain, you got a hell of a pheno. Mad props, your doing great for not having really grown before. Keep up the good work.

Results from today's viewing under 60x plus came back. CLEAR Heads. Guess its still a waiting game. See what tonight's look will bring us.

Donjuan, ya it was supposed to be AF but it sure didn't follow that pattern. I had to cut the main stem before flowering mode because it was reaching the top light in my tiny ass box i made. So i had to make a new home for her. That main cola now is a side branch from down below. Kinda weird how it did that. The topping area is lower and it looks fat underneath all that foilage.

Ya you definately have some time, i wouldn't go by hairs always by trichomes harvest to early your plant won't have nearly the max potency to late and your plant looses all the potency i would harvest when half cloudy/half amber but it all really depends on what kinda buzz you like =) lookin good just be patient don't wanna ruin something when you've gotten so far! keep up the good work!

All hairs will be orange before they will be done. It's a good reference point.

Just had one of the worse experiences with this project.

Cleaning out the res. I lift off the bottom of the base to transport it to my bathroom. Well most of the stalks fall over do to weight of the buds and drag other stalks down with it. Overall i lost 1 decent sized branch cause it snapped. Had no idea it would do this being it was my first time.

So i finally get it back to my bathroom. Now i have a hell of a time getting out the top part of the res. It stuck. Roots are everywhere, tape is holding shit down.I finally get that apart. Well low and behold i have like zero salt buildup.

Only thing i removed was the damn roots that snapped off. So i cleaned that out because we dont want any root rot.

Now trying to put the damn thing BACK into the res. HOLY SHIT!!! Pain in my ass.

All said and done. I finished it ,but with minor penalties. Hope to not do that again for a few more weeks when it is time to cut shit down.

The smell is like Coffee and Lemon. Its a pleasant smell. But its reeking everywhere now.

Anyhow , i needed to vent have a Happy Sunday folks!

so moral of the story:

don't lift off the AG base after your plants get to pineapple-size or bigger. Just siphon out the water


good to hear you only had minimal damage though!

Ya i siphoned the water every week. But i figure i clean out the basin. I thought the damn thing would have a salt buildup.

I just read through your whole thread and this is awesome....but you got me nervous about my grow now....I kept reading that the AG could take 2-3 plants so I planted 3.

But your 1 is a wonderful monster. How tall is it now anyways?

Thanks Ninja. Yea, i think the AG can hold maybe 2 max. I thought it was gonna be smaller as well. But i'll let you know how tall she stands when the lights kick in.

I wonder what your yield will b seems like its gonna be pretty good for 1 plant for personal use

She stands 34 inches. So almost 3 feet.

Ya, not sure on the yield. In all honesty not to worried about it.It has one big cola the other 3 medium ones and a bunch of smaller ones. Hopefully i get more enough to last me a few months. It was mostly an experiment for me. All i want it for is to sleep comfortably. F those pills that help you sleep. I want something natural. So i will be waiting for that nice couchlock amber turning trichs.
