First timer--I need a little help (PICS)

I did tons of research but have hit my first real problem. I have some PPP plants that are in their fourth week of veg. I have been very careful with them but I initially could not afford the best nutrients, so I have been using MG All Purpose 24-8-16 at about 1/3 strength because I was worried about burning them. I have been hand watering them throughout and will go hydroponic once ready to flower. For the last week and a half the plants have been browning at the edges of the leaves and in the last day those same leaves have been curling. I am not overly concerned because the root systems are going crazy and there has been dramatic new leaf formation all over the plants.

I just got my 'Recipe for success starter kit' by Technaflora and would like to know first of all what is wrong with the plants? Secondly, I would like to know how to switch from MG to the Technaflora. Should I start at half the rec. strength?

UPDATE

I flushed my 4" rockwool cubes with plenty of water and have not watered them at all in 24 hours. They don't seem to be doing any better and I am concerned b/c the roots seem to be darkening at the tips.

What should I do next?

I thought about that but I am only using 1/3 the rec. dose of water soluble. I just hope to successfully switch over to the Technaflora products as smoothly as possible.

I have them under two double tube florescents that are T8. Each fixture is 4 feet long and has one each of cool white and day light bulbs. I am keeping the tubes a little more that 4" away from the tops of the plants. Is this too close. The bulbs put off next to nothing in the way of heat. I am keeping the grow room at 75 degrees and about 40% humidity.

ur light should be 3inches away during veg at all times if their cfl, 75 is good, 40% should be more like 50-70 during veg and 30-40 during flower. ok buddy

p.s if u want to raise humidity just put a damp face flannel in a bowl, completely saturate it in water and itl raise humid if ur room temp are wot u say they are, good luck.
