My auger is still drawing in air. It looks like I need to ship it to Solo. Mother Fucker. Good news is, I should have a new auger for next year.
I'm checking on a few on craigslist to get me through the rest of the season.

No shit. So do you fish any of the lakes south of US 2 by Gogebic?
Yea there are a ton of lakes around marenisco that not a whole lot of people know about. Don't want to drop lake names publicly because most are very small but have launches and hold some serious walleye, musky, panfish. I think those lakes out that way fish better than Gogebic most days. But it's harder to get there in the winter.

Check out a few pages earlier I put up some pics from the salmon run this past fall. Was amazing. I've never ice fished until this past winter but I've got a boat so I marked all my hot spots from the summer and just go to them on the snomo. Has worked so far. I'm going to get my guide license this year and start trying to do guided river trips in the fall for salmon and boat trips anywhere you want to go the rest of the year.

wishing everyone good luck fishing!!! here's a little something to lighten the mood. a stoner wants about ice fishing. so he gathers all the necessary equipment and goes to the nearest frozen ice. about 20 feet out he cuts a hole in the ice,"there's no fish in there"booms a voice. the stoner shrugs and moves out another 50 feet and starts to cut another hole,"there's nofish in there either"booms the voice. the stoner shouts "is that you God?""no"says the voice,i own the fucking ice rink!

Scored me a gas auger already. Craigslist. Dude in Marquette had an Eskimo Shark. $100.
Called him up and he said he was loading up and getting ready to drive down here to Gladstone
to fish Bay de Noc. Got it delivered and will probably sell it next winter for $175.

Its called a arapaima or commonly known pirarucu. We managed to get 2 of them but that was the biggest by far and the biggest any of the locals had seen in years
