Fist Grow Journal - SuperBox, CFL Light , Hydroponic, Tangerine Dream

Looking great! I myself am on day 22 in my super box and my plants are about 2-6 inches tall. I just started a grow journal which will be up very soon (I will let you know). Ill have pictures posted up asap I am just waiting for the site to approve my grow journal thread. Im sad though, I originally had 6 sprouts, yesterday 1 of them fell over. I decided to just pull it out.

Your box is stuffed! I cannot wait until my box looks like that. Opening the door and getting slapped in the face with that image must be a very nice feeling. All of your hard work and effort will soon be well paid off! Must be an awesome feeling...

Good Luck! Grow On! Smoke On!

Hi, sorry I haven’t poste lately (holydays).
The way I clean my reservoir is with the water pump (it takes almost all the water), I don’t take the plants out, I fill it again with the hose and every month I run the system for 2 hr with a cleaner (FloraKleen).

Day 76 (Flowering 30 days)

Lots of trouble!!
I think my biggest mistake has been putting 3 plants in my Superbox, the ideal is 1 max 2.
I had to go on vacations (7 days) and I knew that my plants were going to grow too tall and get light burn. And they did :(

The last few days I been bending my plans but the space is too crowded and a lot of leaves are not getting enough light and they are falling.
On the good side the main colas are already budding and some crystals are starting to show.

I am worry that I will have to deal with the space for at least 2 more weeks but I think I´ll manage.

Any suggestion is welcome.

Elpig, looking amazing man (other than the shortage of space.) I currently have 5 plants in my box and im about 33 days into veg. I recently began to lst/fim/top all of mine, the only difference is that I didn't start with feminized seeds. Im hoping 2 of the 5 are at least female so I don't get stuck in the same boat as you.

Have you though about going through and cutting away some of the bottom less unfortunate fan leaves that may not have a chance to bud? If not this will help create more air flow to help prevent from molding and other later hazards. Once everything starts budding make sure to keep a close eye on mold. If it gets to stuffy in there that may become a problem. Maybe think about removing some excess leaves. Correct me if i'm wrong, but I believe plants will grow up to 2/3 of there current size prior to light switch.

And also later on when the buds themselves get taller, making sure they are not touching your CFL light may be an issue. But thats if they keep on growing. I had this issue my very first grow, but that was without any type of training to the plant. I waited until the plant was about a 10 inches before I switched light cycles and it had a drastic effect on my plant once the bud started touching the light bulb itself.

Keep us updated bud!

the plants look like they started stretching like crazy after you started flowering. i thought you chose a great time to start flowering so this is kinda suprising ur running out of room. i wish i can help you here but im a beginner. maybe u can just bend/tie them like you have been? i hope you can pull this off, let us know what happens!

Looking great, you may want to consider super cropping, though.

As someone had mentioned you should have done 6-8 smaller plants and flowered after a week or two of good veg.

Also, find another light that you can hang closer to the canopy during early veg/flower to help with the stretch.

You are completely right!, I´ll make some of this changes for my second try.

Right now thing are looking better, I had to trim all the branches that didn’t have a chance.

So it is still crowded but manageable.

Any opinions about when to harvest are appreciated.

I´m thinking 2 more weeks for the indicia (Pics) and about 4 more weeks for de sativa (tangerine dream).

sweet! when you harvest ur suppose to check with a hand scope or loupe if your trichomes are cloudy/amber. if they are still clear they need to be flowered more, when they are cloudy i heard they are in their prime, if they are amber they are almost too mature. you want almost all cloudy trichomes and some amber. let us know how to harvest is! im growing some new clones in my superbox but they get droopy around the time it gets dark, so i dont know if i should start flowering them! anyways good job, and good luck with your harvest
