Hi
I want use flat white paint for my growbox .My question is on which surface would the reflectivity be the greatest if painted white eg : cardboard , pvc ,wood etc. Any suggestions on what I can use?

Thinking wood is not the best of ideas
cause of the roughness of the surface,
but I might be wrong. PLs help!!

flat white paint would be the best.
you are an idiot sir, might i suggest reading the question before responding.

now then unto the problem, i like my sheetrock nice and white lol but ya im sure cardboard, plywood, pressboard or sanded wood would all be fine. I personally would go with the pressboard (that wood in ikea furniture lol) its pretty thin normally 1/8 in and cheap, but its alot stronger then carboard yet still light enough to work with. hope i helped somewhat

My veg room was made from that chip board and painted flat white.Plants grow big just fine.I don't think the surface matters as long as it's flat white.

I can't use mylar ,cause I can'f find it anywhere.I live in Africa ,and I cant find
anything even close to mylar . I'v tried to order it online, but can't seem to find
a site that delivers worldwide. Any 1 know of any sites? in the mean while i'll go ahead and do the flat white, - my next best option.

I'm a big fan of styrofoam. It comes in sheets, it's cheap, and you can just glue it or tack it to the walls. Works fine for me.

Understood...damn I find that it sucks living in the boonies in the States and having to order most things online, can't imagine not even having that option.

Hey man, flat white paint on just about anything will get it done. Ideally you want a very smooth surface like that guy said...drywall is what most use in the states because it's what our walls are finished with. But in the south and other parts here where there are basements...I bet there are thousands of block built basements that have white paint on them and grow a ton of great bud.

What ever you have, just paint in white.

Mylar is ugly :)
