Flavoring Your Buds

Is There any way you can add flavor to your buds?
like adding kool-aid or something like that in the water?

Kool ade is NOT going to improve the taste of your bud, if anything the addition of different tastes is done during the cure, not during the grow.

nah man.. I've heard of people using like vanilla extract and misting it into the roots.. but still iffy.

What you can do, is get something that smells nice (like orange peels) and when curing your dub, put the peels into the bag.

Kool aid WILL NOT WORK. That has already been stated, do not try it. It has been done! (use the search function). It leads to horrible tasting/smelling/burning bud with a retched headache-inducing high. Use a sugar free grape extract if you want a grape flavor.

it wont work. dont bother coming back. the roots filter out anything you would try to use to change flavor.

molasses.... hmm. my brother and i just had the conv. of kool aid and i wouldnt do it.

there is allot of talk about using molasis on RIU ... ive never used it but i probably would if i could use it in hydro

when do yoiu apply the molassas? During the last 2 weeks of flowering or what

i use it in the last 2-5 weeks of flowering thats just me tho..i like fat nugs and molasses does fatten ur bud up 1 table spoon per gallon

molasses makes your bud taste better and grow a lil fatter because it provides nutrients to the benificial bacteria in the soil which increases the plants ability to absorb nutrients through the roots, in turn creating a healthier, larger, better tasting bud.

all this talk of kool-aid is making me thirsty

You can use natural fruit juice when watering for the last couple weeks.

GreenEarth hey I wouldnt use it in the hydro setup it will probably end up cloging you up. Sorry Bud.
