Flavoring your weed

Raise your hand if you can read a topic and then remain on that topic for the discussion.

This thread isn't about whether or not connoisseur is a good guy or not. He seems a little ADHD, he can't stay on topic, everything is about hating Miracle grow, even though that isn't the topic here.

did you just call me an angle over 90 degrees?... you can barely properly flush your plant, why would you care about flavoring... and your answer to your question is NO it will not work.. and im the imbicile...

EDIT: thanks camaro for the 'back up', but i only help those who wanna be helped and this person obviously doesnt, feel free to ask any more questions camaro im sure you have the ability to learn...unlike others

Obtuse = not sharp. blunt, slow to understand or perceive, not acute.

Hydroponic nutes mixed with water is how majority of soil growers feed their plants.
Hydroponics refers to the delivery system
The elements that plants need are universal

Hydroponics = the science of growing plants in liquid mineral systems.

anything grown in soil (i.e. dirt) is not hydroponic.

By your defination everything is hydroponic, because all plants use water.

why did this turn into a flaming session?
either because she doesnt like me, she is jeslous of my dank corn, or MAYBE. just maybe, her idea was wrong... there are ways to flavor your plant but i dont feel like sharing with those who dont like me
and Obtuse is the opposite of acute.. caute being under 90 degrees
Served..\
Edited for not wanting to post again... such as your thinking... having to be obtuse or acute.. theres a third solution called having a right angle being exact 90 degrees...maybe you should not use the thought of having to be one or the other and think outside the box for once...

I still think I might try it sometime just to see if it works. Maybe just one small branch on one plant or something.
Hester.... if you try it don't use regular thread.... it is usually coated so won't likely wick well. I'm thinking if you get a very thin cotton strand rope and separate the strands so you only have a few strands together. Probably need a knitting sew needle instead of a regular needle.

Good luck and keep us posted as to the results

if something is NOT acute then is is obtuse, learn to read and get a dictionary.

bitch slapped.

worried about flavoring and using miracle gro dont mix well... the only thing i can say that will enhance flavor is AdvNut sweet leaf, all other techniques you must learn on your own

Apparently you can't wonder about flavored weed if you use MG for nutes. At least that is what Connoisseur thinks.

oh, bitch slapped again.....

Again Hydroponics is the delivery system. It refers to the plant medium and method such as Expanded clay, rockwool, flood and drain.

When you water your plants you are providing them with nutreints

Nutrients are classified in 2 ways Mobile and Immobile.

Moble nutes move freely around the plant as they are needed. If you have a nitrogen difficency, the lower leafs will release their nitrogen and move it to the upper leafs (clsoer to the light). The bottom leafs turn Yellow.

Immoble nutes never move and stay where they are.

Macronutrients are NPK
Nitrogen Potassium and phosphorous
Micro nuts are everything else

(Macro)
Nitrogen moble
Phosphorus moble
Potassium moble

(micro)
Magnesium moble
Zink moble
calicum Immoble
boron Immoble
Chlorine Immoble
Cobalt Immoble
Copper Immoble
Iron Immoble
Manganese Immoble
Molybdenum Immoble
Selenium Immoble
Silicon Immoble
Sulfer Immoble

Reguardless of what bottle it comes out of this is what every plant on the planet need to survive.
Hydroponic solutions when mixed with water deliver the items to the root systems. It dosent matter if it went through a pump and filled a table, or through dirt.
With soil you would water with something like this once a week and regular water the rest of the time. This is standard practice around the world. I didn't just make this up

I don't grow hydroponically, I grow in soil which is not hyroponic.

Growing in soil is by definition the opposite if hydroponics.

But that still isn't what this thread is about. It's about a flavoring method that I heard about and wondered if it would work.

And FL girl that is good advice, I didn't think about coating on thread, I'm not a big sewer, but I have teeny tiny needles that would work great for this project.

Alright I am done with this.
Forms are about discussion, I suggested a product, you said it wont work because you don't grow hydroponically, and I tried to explain that the nutrients you give a plant are all the same regardless of how you give it to them. Not to mention that 95% of SOIL growers do it this way. But thats cool Im out of your thread.

Any soil grower want to back me up on this?
:peace:

I never once said it wouldn't work, I said I don't grow hydroponically.

I like my method of growing, It works for me. I didn't start this thread saying I didn't know how to grow, or what to do. I started it because someone told me of something that I wondered about.

Can we please try to pay attention????? :wall:

mhmoffit, i think it was fdd, he posted an awesome thread on colouring buds, soo..

if clipping a branch and simply leaving it in a bucket of natural dye works, then i'd guess substituting the dye for 'flavouring' would work.

i reckon the wick would be unnecessary.. but what do i know, y'know?

hah, try it hun :peace:

No you didnt. but you have showed it...

So using miracle grow means I don't know how to grow. Alrighty then.

There are a lot of people on this forum that would take offense to that statement.

You've certainly proven that you can not read and understand a sentence nor can you stay on topic.

Hey Sublimed thanks for the interest in the topic at hand. I was talking about using this wick technique on a branch that is still attached to the plant and growing. I'm talking for like maybe a month feeding it somekind of flavoring so it's taking it in as the buds are being produced.

I think I'm going to try it. Maybe not right off, but within the next year. I'll be fun, I was wondering about a peppermint flavor to make some x-mas pot. Just something fun and interesting for an experiment.

MissHester. This will not work. I do not say this just to bust you bubble. if you stick a thread in your arm and leave it hanging in water, what do you think your body will do? It will produce white blood cells to combat the thing it views as an infection, reduceing the energy spent on the things that are important.

Now if you want to flavor, color or what ever else, why not just let the plant wick it up the way it was designed to? These wicks are called ROOTS. I have taken blue food coloring and added it dureing the final flush of my plants and came up with Purple buds. Also, I have added Rasperry extract into my water and made my buds smell of rasberry and sweeter tasteing. But as far as sticking a wick into your plant, and haveing it come out tasteing like what you want. I highly doubt this. But if you do try it, best of luck.

OH,, And Connisiuer is not an ELITE Member, He can not give someone NEG REP. It must have been someone else that gave it to you.
