id run it one time while lights off...because you dont want the cubes to dry and start to get mildew....

your RW cube should have enough moisture/water/nutes in it so you wouldnt have to water @ night....

i wouldnt, but i guess its a personal choice

i always read/heard that when the light is off it is best to let the plant rest...why exactly i'm not sure.

The cubes seem to never dry out but the roots are well into the coco mat which dries out every 24 hours or so so I have been flooding just above the coco mat every 24 hours to keep the moist which also draws little water up into the cubes...

dont worry about the coco mat.

YOU THINK they are drying out too fast....which im sure they arent.

you still havent answered which thickness of coco mat do you have....the 1/4 of inch or 1/2 inch?

the roots will grow below the coco mat where a pool of water will be! the mat creates a nice humid zone for roots to thrive in i say this because im pretty sure you have a textured bottom on your flood table and the water doesnt drain all the way out. the coco mat also serves as a safety barrier between waterings to prevent drying out and dry times during the night cycles

you are fine. you are paying way too much attention. overcaring can kill too trenton!!!!!!!

before you're next watering, check below the coco mat and see how much moisture/water is there....

have the roots actually grown THRU the coco mat? or are have they just only grown IN the coco mat??
