floor area vs. number of plants

So while thinking about future grows I was wondering; with a 1.5'x2' floor which would have a better yield, six smaller plants or two larger ones?

I don't think there is a definite answer I was wondering this myself ,so many different factors like lights,soil,hydro etc.
But I think lollipopping or scrog seem to be good for better yields but if you have good lights or side lighting 2 plants can grow a lot too

i would cram as many as you can in and just grow the top colas if your using hid lighting

I use CFL's, but will it make a difference?

i would say with cfl's do more and keep them small,just have enough lights for them all,but if you had a good hps light i would say do 2
