Flora Trio 2/2/2 ML vs Lucas 6/9 ML

Im curious to hear how the same product can be used in such a variance. Speaking in terms of watering a flower room like a hydro room. How its is that the Lucas formula 6ml micro/ 9ml bloom) calls for 15ml/gallon of fetilizer, but while going by the measurements of using all 3 of the trio line, (2ml Grow, 2ml Micro, 2ml Bloom) you only use about 6ml per gallon.

Is the lucas formula just that much higher in ppm as a final result?

I will be switching to a different style of growing, Mainly perlite with maybe 15% coco grown in small 1.5g fabric pots. And need to choose a nurient to purchase. I was thinking of buying a gallon of the trio and just using it as the label suggests and all 3 bottles would run out near the same time.

Using the Lucas formula youd obviously run out of the bloom at a faster rate than the micro.

Just curious to hear some opinion on this

I use the 6/9 program with good results. The only addition is 1ml of ph down. KISS just works better for me.

Good luck with your grow.

I suppose both methods are Kiss in my eyes. One uses over double the fertilizer.and I'm curious why

6/9 is not Lucas, it's H3AD's formula for Coco (plus epsom salts)

and the EC would be way higher than 2/2/2 obviously.

Lucas is more like 1part Micro to 2parts bloom, therefore you would buy 2 bottles of bloom to each micro and no grow ever. I've tried it and decided it's not for me because I see faster growth in veg using the trio as directed by GH. In flower, Lucas seems ok.

I recently did a run with only Floranova Bloom, a one part replacement for the Trio with very very nice results. Surprising really.

The trio is a little tricky for a beginner like me, I resisted simplifying to a one or two part, but I think it's a better option until I can totally understand how the trio works and how I can best use it.

This is 100% correct.Tried it in my hempy buckets after I read H3ads thread. I've found I don't need the mag sulfate though.

Definitely not the same as Lucas formula.

Are you sure you're looking at 2ml's per gallon and not 2 tsp per gallon of the trio?
