Floraflex Bubbblers Leaking when pump is off

Been using these 8 spout floraflex bubblers has room to connect 1/4 hose to each spout. About 4 weeks into this grow and they are draining water from each even when the pump is off. It is the strangest thing. The pump is lower to the ground then the grow setup nothing to be forcing the water up and in without more pressure.

The water is siphoning. You need some type of air release valve. Most people just poke a hole right above the water line in the reservoir. When the pump runs, a little bit of water will come through the hole and back into the reservoir. When the pump shuts off the remaining water will drain out of the hole and allow air in to stop the siphoning. Im not sure how well im explaining this but it is the way.

This makes sense that is why floraflex has the air bleed valve. Do all my systems need something like this to keep from siphoning?

They have air bleed valve because of water distribution, when you have more of those manifolds connected to the system. That valve wont prevent water from siphoning once your water level is above your pots.
