I fish and cast net but the onshore fishing is shot except a couple secret spots that I cant say or my fish will go away. Better to get a boat. cast netting for mullet is fun but when your in waist high water while after urb is sobering. I just know a damm shark or gator is gonna get my ass. This wild life and game officer said no need to worry the sharks and gators dont look to eat people. I said HHMM and went about my day but I was thinking are you crazy shark, gator,or croc they will eat yo ass out none the less. Wading tip: Walk with net in front of you with the waits just over feet.

I have had a shark grab my stringer that was tied to my waste before.
You have a better chance of getting hit by a car or lightning before a shark attack.
And most are not really attacks, investigative bites and mistaken identity.
I have a few spots from shore that still produce well for me.
