Hey everything looks great! I just moved down to Florida. It seems like everyone is starting a growing season now. I have some seeds popping today, and made an attitude order last night. Are you starting anything for this growing season? What is the best season for weed down here?

well this season has already started for me about 4 months ago is when i started the big sativa that i have. i have some more that i started about a month ago and yet more that were started indoors about 12 days ago. flowering started around 8/22 for me so any plants that go out now will begin flowering soon.

what area are you in? ive heard N.florida gets frost so you may end up harvesting before they finish if thats the case. really depends on strain and area tho.

I'm down in Pinellas County so that northern frost isn't a real concern. I have 2 easyryders that popped last night ready to go. I have some Thai Super Skunks that are sativa that I think can finish. They were freebies so I will run it anyway.

The most important seeds are the TGA jilly beans I ordered. They are a sativa dominant hybrid, I'm guessing 10-12 weeks flower time. Those wont be here for another week or two.

your easyryders should be good, the TSS is sativa so your most likely lookin at a long flowering time. if you dont get frost in your area then the TSS should not be a problem.

i would say hold on the jillybeans do them next season or inside.

You are effin nuts dude! that is a crazy plant you have growin there. I have one goin in a hidden spot somewhere in Lake Worthlessv:finger: But it doesn't even belong in the same sentence as your beast! Mine is about 3.5 ft and also bagseed sativa, ( thats all I can get up here ) and also flowering slowly  but I'll wait. BTW, is there some seed bank in FL that i'm not aware of or does everyone down here get there seeds online? cuz I am too jealous of the nice strains, all my girls are bagseed, but I still love em :bigjoint: You plannin on tying that big girl down anymore, she can prolly see the inter-coastal, jk. Good luck on your grow, can't wait to see the results!! + rep and subscribed.

thanx man, i really appreciate the compliments. hah ive only driven through "lake worthless" so i dont really know how it is there, looks pretty boring tho. good luck with yours man, 3.5 feet you should still get a nice bit of bud off that. i dont think there is any seedbanks in FL, ive been lucky enough to get my beans free from other people that ordered them. also ive saved a bunch from random good buds that had a seed or 2 and my cousin brought me some great beans from cali. i dont think im gonna tie her down anymore, shes pretty well hidden my yard has lots of tree cover around.

hah love the avy, you inspired me to try a DWC. im makin it now in a 3 gallon bucket, probly gonna run an ak47 in it outside. will post pics

Nice, Dwc is definately a cheap and easy way to grow indoors ( i've come to learn ) all it takes is sum tupperware and a trip to wal-mart and boom, 50$ later you have a hydro system... Take it easy on the nutes at first tho, that's been my biggest problem. ( I always seem to think, more nutes, more growth) But i'm gettin better. Good luck

Wow, good job FS. This thread has really got me thinking about trying something outdoors. How is your soil down there? Did you do anything to prepare your soil? Up here in central florida all I have is sugar sand, so I know I have some chores ahead of me.
