Flourescant Tubes??? Aquarium??

Hey guys waddup. While looking through my parents shit the other day, I came across a HUGE fishtank. Inside of it there were 2 hoods with around a 2 or 3 ft. flourescant tube in each. I plugged them into the wall, and boom, there on. There made for an aquarium, do you think it will help my grow if I combine these lights with my 4 23w CFL's.

then something else... can u give use the infos on the tubes ? found on the left or right hand side !

Aquarium lights are very high-quality and great as use for fluoro ops. Great find! I'm jealous.

Alright. They're quite old... I plugged them in, and walah, work like a charm. It didnt go on the first second, I'm like...FUCK! but then it flickered, and powered up. YAY ME!

I would probably go ahead and replace them. If they are old, depending on the age, technology may have come a long way since those were made. And you dont know how long the lights were in use, they may be worn out.

HUGE Fishtank???!!!! Hmmmm how huge? Know how many gallons? I'm am a sucker for huge fish tanks.

I dont know how many gallons..but its longer than my 63" TV by about 2 feet? Its pretty huge... I wonder where the rest of the lights are hehe...oh and also, are pumps that are used for hydro just regular fish tank air pumps?

Can you get me exact measurements for that tank(H X W X L)? If you want to sell it and if it is in great shape we could work a deal out. I would only want the tank, I do my own thing with the lights, you take them.

I dont do hydro but from what little I know about it, it seems as if you can use a lot of fish tank equipment in all aspects of growing.

Hey.... alright I'll get the full measurements for you... Its in decent shape... just a bit dirty. If we do work something out, I'll give her a shine. How much would you say you would give me for a fishtank around 5 ft. in length, 2.5ft wide, and around 3 ft tall?

I read somewhere that aquarium lights designed for growing are actually worse than just regular lights. they try to focus on specific spectrum's but are only done roughly... my 2 cents.
