Flourescents for the long haul?

So the deal is... this little green thumb is broke so i cant afford an HPS or MH lighting system. I have 16 females at 3 feet and im wondering how shitty of a yeild i would get per plant or if the flouros will even be enough to do anything.
A bit of background i have the 16 girls with 4 48 inch bulbs.

And these flouros were like 1$ more expensive than the rest because there are 'plant flourescents' lol

High Lumens (pack the thing) of different highly utilized color spectrums but mostly less than 3000k. Make a good reflecting hood to utilize most of your lumens. I am experimenting using red and blue for vegging seems to be working out nicely. But I know I'm going to have to pack 10k lumens in there more if i can manage the heat. I'm growing in a flammable object though lol.

I used Fluoros for my grow from start to finish. HIDs would give more yield, but if you could get some CFLs to place around the sides of the plants it would help your yield. Be sure to keep your plants within 2 inches of your lights.

Hey mate if u dont want o get a low ield y dont u try flowering outsiede how s ur climate ull get the same good resiny bud as an hp system so ull have a good yield hope this helps .

How much would be a realistic yield for a plant grown completely on flouros?

a realistic yield with cfls in normal amount only, basically shitty, you may get yourself some fluffy buds which look nice and won' taste to bad but that is all you will get out of it. the fact is that you need a certain number of lumens on our plant and getting them with cfls is more expensive than doing it with hps. so if you buy a shit-load of cfls you can probably grow some really descent but it will be cheaper with hps.

if you can afford to shop for 10 cfl's and fixtures for them you can go for a used hps on eBay, that what i did as many others too:roll:

if ur going to have more than 2 plants get the hid system, u would use up the same watts as the ton of cfls ur going to need. altho cfls can produce some very dank nugs

hey dont worry i get that all the time 2..you were right tho everyday i see the same post about fluros youd this they would see them..even only 5 minutes of searching should result in some info..and how about this....google???lol its the internet theres so much info people just dont want to look.

With that said it is one simple question FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE DONE THIS: Around about how many grams would the yeild be if vegged and flowered with flourescents?

Im not asking you where to get a fucking HID system, im not asking where the fuck i can google info, im asking how many grams would be a typical harvest off of a plant grown entirely with flouros?

wow temper temper....its funny how douche bags feed off each other. You asked a question and I answered it. I answered it in a way that i was not trying to offend anyone. You will not get shit for yeild using tube flouros. And i never told you to go and buy a HID system. if you wanna flower with flouros get CFLs. but in short you are the only dickhead here, half the shit you are ranting on about never came outta my mouth. Actaully a legitimate answer to your question. and now Im a dick head...thats whats up....

And flouros are for small number of smaller plants...not big open spaces with 16 plants....time to go back to 101....
