flower too soon??

my plants are 4 1/2 weeks and bushy little beasts....400w hps 18/6.....5-6 nodes...how soon can i start to flower?? i dont want anything to get over 24 inches and 40-50 grams a plant is fine for my needs...any advice is good.

It is recommended wen growing, that you begin to flower when your plant has 5 nodes, so u can flower now......

You can start now. I always veg for 4 weeks 18/6 and then go to 12/12. Your plants will double or triple in size during flowering.
