Flower/veg room design

Hi guys first post on here. I am a couple grows in, I have a outdoor finished shed and also growing outdoors for the first time this year. I have 2 1000 watt switchable mh/hps ballasts and 2 6" blockbuster sealed hoods that I run ducting to and out the shed for cooling. The shed is something like 12 by 9 by 8 tall. The shed is split in half and sealed off by light for split veg/flower room. My big problem is I just got a really nice pioneer 8 tube 4 foot t5 set up about 435 watts and I want to supplement my flower area which is basically 6 by 4.5 feet. Should I A. use my new t5 get some flower bulbs and use it as a really nice supplement split the space between existing 1000 watt and t5 and flower so 1435 watts or do I B. take my pre installed 1000 watt from my veg room and have it split the space in flower room then put new t5 in veg.???? Keep in mind I need my pants in veg to catch up to height to be ready to flower constantly I flower at about 3.5 feet to 4 feet will I be able to get my strains from clone to 4 feet with the t5 setup compared to my 1000 watt metal halide in 3 months? Iv read over the past week while I decide that the t5 with flower bulbs can be a really good flower supplement as well as really good veg light. Any comments appreciates and will post pictures later if can't visualize the set up through my sloppy sentences.

My 2 cents, and take it with a grain of salt here... your vegging for 18 hours a day it's cheaper to run you t5s. Then you can overlap your 3 lights in flower room and get an extra 6 square feet +\- of flower space. More lighted space more/bigger plants. Numsayin'?

Yeah I was thinking about electricity too. If I put the t5 in veg that would be 18 hours of 435 watts instead of 1000 and then in flower it will be 2000 for only 12 hours. So if I do the math... T5 in veg would be 18X435=7830watts 12X2000=24,000. All added you get 31,830 watts a day. If I put t5 to supplement flower that would be 18X1000=18000 and 12x1435=17220 all added up i would be at 35,220. That's a 4000 watt difference and also 2 high pressure sodium give better nugs too. So less electricity better nugs, only question is will the t5 get my next generation clones back up to 3.5 feet in a flower cycle??

That IS the question and I'm not ashamed to say idk the answer . My assumption is no but are you aiming for 7 footers?! I believe 1-t5 will get you as good as you need in 8 weeks. For 4 footers at harvest.
Depending on strain of course and training.

Yeah I'm thinking that's the best route I throw them in flower at about 3.5 feet bushes and they only stretch to about 5-5.5 feet sheds about 8 feet tall at the peak but roof is pretty high all the way until it drops off at the walls. So my lights fit nicely up in that extra 2.5 feet with 1 foot imbetween light and plants. I think it will work out awesome, I'll save electricity, get better denser nugs, and I believe the t5 will suffice for the growth I need as long as I keep the bulbs good. It'll just take me a little bit to rearrange my ducting and move my lights but it'll be worth it. Any opinion on bulbs I should use? I was thinking about putting a high pressure sodium in one and metal halide in the other for mixed lights output in flower.??!?

Personally I'd skip the mh. I run dual 600s hps and supplement with cfls for more spectrum and denser nugs but you Gatta keep them bitches clooooose.
