flower vs vape

Am i right in saying smoking a bowl is full effect high and vape although they say its cleaner and better for your lungs. its not a complete high

bought a blk nova dry herb vaporiser £40 its not overly expensive but not the Cheapest either

few downsides . vaping makes the flower a strange flavour earthy , some people say burnt popcorn .

not alot of smoke on inhalation

and the high seems different clearer minded

i was under the impression vaporzing meant you get more from it because its not just incinerated

overall its not the worst definitely get high but undecided wether a bong or a joint is ultimately better . besides the other being the "healthier" option

Probably won't be much help, my 2 cents anyway.
Vaping is cleaner with less "undesirable" by-products because it done at a much lower temp than smoking.
That being said, the only reason I vape at all (I should be vaping more and smoking less) is that after 50 years I have a smokers cough.
Vaping weed (to me) takes forever to get buzzed.
Vaping hash or rosin works much better but can be harsh as fuck, a water bong helps there.

Pretty much same results here with dry herb vaporizer (cheap one aka xvape aria).
Worst 80 bucks I ever spent on weed. Takes a ton of herb and nothing like a couple tokes from a regular bowl... Or even my little dugout!

I think it somewhat depends on the vaporizer too. There's a big difference between a premium desktop vaporizer, versus something portable that runs on batteries.

2 balloon bags off the Volcano usually does it for me. It's not quite as full effect as smoking, but leagues better than any portable I've ever tried.

In some ways the high can be better because your chest/throat isn't hurting from smoke. It can also help curb some of the anxious or energetic effects.

I second everything you say about the Volcano. I love mine.

I've been using a POTV One for a few months now. I love it, it's great, but it definitely doesn't replace smoking flower. These little "dosing pods" I wish they were bigger and lasted longer. The first two rips are like pure terpenes, tastes amazing. It does get that sort of burnt popcorn taste a few hits in, and I agree the effect is much clearer. I don't get stoned off this, but other people do.

If you're looking for a slammin high, you want concentrates like rosin or something.

i have tried the herbalaire and others over the years but not really been impressed. burnt popcorn taste etc., Volcano has been the gold standard for a reason I guess!
I can get that if I run it too hot. Now I need to go vape some of my Bros. Grimm table and see if I get it at really low temps. I always extracted my vape dust for edibles and would definitely pick it up there. Frankly my very favorite delivery vehicle are joints. But I hate rolling them. There's always something  :eyesmoke:

They say there is a "learning curve" to using a dry herb vaporizer and I agree. I read when making the switch, you should use nothing but your vaporizer for a few months.

I did it for health reasons.

I totally prefer my dry herb vape now, and just bought my 4th one...I have 3 portables and a desktop.

I get just as stoned, it uses less weed, and it's way easier on your lungs. I think weed tastes better in the vaporizer, except for maybe the first hit on a joint if it's premium.

And if I want to get higher, I break out the rosin and do dabs.

My lungs also sound way better than they did 5 years ago.

Yes i agree it takes a few weeks to get used to the vaping properly with flower but once u have switched its much better then smoking it, combustion is just horrible and that burny taste, need to clean my glass if it combusts

I’ve tried the POTV one and the pax2. Unfortunately I wasn’t satisfied with either. Tried concentrates on both and was even more disappointed, not even comparable to dabbing.

I figured the next step would to try out a Plenty. For now, I’m back to joints, snapping large bowls, and the occasional dab.

volcano classic vs volcano hybrid? Neither one is a cheap option but I'm the sort to invest once in quality equipment.

iirc you need a good grinder to get even flower to pack?
I bought the classic because it's cheaper, and I prefer the analog temp dial (simple and can easily be repaired) versus the other ones with the digital read-outs and smart phone apps that I don't want to use.

I set it at about 1 o'clock on the dial and never change it. It's built like a tank, german engineered, and will probably last a lifetime.

Arizer solo 2 is what i have been using for few years now, cant stand a joint a bowl or anyway else that is burning anymore. No difference in the high but takes longer to vape than burn is my only complaint.

I haven't combusted in years, the last time I did it was such a gross fucking experience. I use my Tinymight 2 daily, it's the best portable vape I've tried and don't really need anything harder hitting, being healthier is just a bonus.

Solo 2 is the slowest vape I own, it's also like sucking cement through a straw.
