Flowering for 20 days now... no sign of sex...help

Its been 20 days since i turned over to 12/12 and i have yet to verify what sex my plants are. They vegged for 4 weeks and are about 3 feet tall and they just seem to be growing still with no sex showing. Is there anything I can do to like shut the lights off for a day to shock it or something?

just wait it out...if your on 12/12 for 20 days it will be any day...

what kinda light are you flowering with?

Don't listen to Mr. Untouchable I have seen him give terrible advice. That guy's a shmuck. IKf you switch back to 24/0 you will stress the plant out and could make it a hermie. Are you using proper nutes for flowering, sometimes if you use a fert with too much nitrogen for flowering that will delay the onset of buds.

Plants really start to show their sex at around 8 weeks of age. Six weeks of veg and two weeks of flower. You should know soon if they are male or female. The males should show within the next week. Anything later than that is usually female.

all cfls... 1 42w 2700, 4 26w 2700k, and 3 26w 6500k, on two plants

Early is right give it time the 12/12 will make them sex give them young kids time to mature
