flowering problem...

I have several different strains flowering outside but one of them , although clearly in flower, is just getting taller, instead of filling in. I understand that different strains are going to flower at different rates, but plants that came out at the same time are budding like crazy while this one is over 8 feet tall... wondering if any of yall have any insight on this?

Got pics? If the lanky one has real skinny leaves, it's likely a Sativa dom and can stretch a bit before adding flowers. My Blue Dream is doing just that. The Kushes are filling in nicely and poppin' new bud sites left and right. But the BD just keeps growin' and growin' Fortunately it has a shorter flower time, so all should pretty well even out in the end :weed:

Good Luck :peace:

what strains did you plant? a really fast indica dom can go for 6 weeks and be ready to harvest while some really hardcore sativas can run 26+ weeks but generally 8-14 is what you should expect feom most of todays seedbank selections. (leaf shape has almost nothing to do with sativa or indica dominance this is a basic guidline to how the pure forms once looked nowadays with so much hybridization leaf shape means nothing)

It's an Indica dom, sorry. But all plants are different, so not to worry. I have a couple of Kushes, that are re-vegging after being 2 weeks into flower (for almost a month now). My other Kushes are just starting their pre-flower stretch, as normal. And as I wrote, my BD is trying to "kiss the sky". That's the fun of growing different strains outdoors. Not to mention the fun of having a variety of meds available after harvest and cure :weed:

Good Luck
