Shit, Dude, this is outdoor growing section.... If you MUST induce flowering for such small plants, cloning is a bit more difficult when plant is in the flowering stage, but can be done. After you read some of the Many Articles on Cloning, keep this in mind. Next time, do a early sexing method (Dude, I cloned off a 5 ft. plant, and it showed male later on....so I was cloning males...) Prior to doing the 12/12, do a 12/12 for one branch on each plants, IE: a thick black sock put on a branch 12/12 of the time, whereas only that branch will tell you the sex. Then, while the rest is still in the veg. state, clones can be taken. A heating pad with thermostat, set at 80 Degrees, dome & all that shit, in 16 oz. plastic cups. Straight vercimulite I believe is the best, liquid seaweed is a natural rooting hormone, but's I've done the liquid & powder rooting hormone, both works, but, other than seaweed, I think the gel would be better. A week prior to taking clones, I prep the clone branches. I only take the "woody" bottom branches, & take off all but 4 to 6 leaves of the intended clone. This way, the clones is not under so much stress as when it's cut & trimmed all at the same time. Another trick is when held under water in rooting solution, to make the 45 degree angle cut, let set in that solution for a couple hours. 24 hours prior to taking clones, a good feeding of seaweed will get the rooting hormones into it's system, which as Martha Steward would say, it a good thing.
Know the clone cutting amount prior to any cutting, set up all the shit, containers, something to poke holes, warm water-not cold water, razor blade, go through the procedures, lay out your tools in a certain order, etc. Like preparing for a surgery. Check out air-layering also, just for grins.
