FLowering/Sexing Question.

dont ask my why i dont know this i have been growing for a few years but ...

lets say i have 10plants growing indoors. now i wanna sex those plants B4 the begin to flower because 10 is way to many for my light but 5 isnt if u get me . if i was to put the light on 15 or 14 hrs would the plants show sex slowly enuff to give me time to transplant the females into bigger pots ?

u can always cover a branch and just make that flower....or take clones

They will eventually show sex on their own when sexually mature. I don't think 14-15 hours of light will force them to do it any or much faster. 12/12 will though.

iv heard of flower at 16 hrs

really 16 hrs? that shouldnt happen. ive tryed covering the 1 branch in the past it never works out for me the branch allways dies lol.

only way to be sure is take clones mate but like El Super said if you let them grow long enough they will show sex under 18 or 24 hour light but my guess is you don't wanna have to wait that long

Maybe because you have to uncover it every now and then?????

Just take 1 cutting plant it put your timer on12/12 and you'll have bud within 2/3 weeks. What bulb are you using

Why not switch to 12/12 untill sex is shown, then ReVeg?

u still need to give them 12 hrs of light too...u cant just keep them in the dark....or yes...they will die..

u could...but its alot of stress (alot of ppl wont reccommend it).....next time u flower it it might hermie on u...

Bro, I hate to e a dick.. But answers like these are insane.. You should do more reading kid.

I have put both red and blue spectrum in my grow to get them to show preflowers early and seems to have worked on the most part. Only down fall I see right now it the stretch from the red light but. I also have double the plant you are talking about and need to know the sex on all for cloning. So you could do this till you have 5 girls and not need to wait for the rest!
