Flowering Time?

I have been in flower now for 24 days. Indica buds large and well formed and Sativa 's are coming on fast (although there are a lot more smaller buds). I was planning on harvesting around the 28th of Feb. (sorry no pics). Does this sound like the right time frame?

you're probably going to want to wait another week or two. eight to nine weeks flowering is typical, but it all depends on strain and growing condition. the easiest way to tell when to harvest is to get a 30x microscope (ten bucks) and look at the color of the trichomes. when you have 1/3 to 1/2 amber trichomes it's time to chop. and check out the stickie in harvesting section for more ideas.

Indica's usually max out at 60 days, while Satives can take up to 10-11+ weeks to finish..

Thanks all. I will post pics over the weekend but it sounds like I better count on at least two to three more weeks to harvest and I will buy the microscope and keep an eye for the change in trichomes.

You must have some magic plants. More like 70 days for indicas and 12-13 weeks for sativas.

Never in my life have I seen an Indica finish at 70 days!
You must have some slow growth your way. And 13 weeks for sativa's..Its very possible. The strain I invented called "Glass Slipper" is an Indica/Sativa Mix and it finishes up at 55-57 days MAX.

I am using 2 400watt HPS lights with a fluorescent in the middle. The space is 5x5x8 and has 15 plants. Will this affect the grow times at all or should this be sufficient (seems to as plants appear to be quite healthy). Thanks again in advance for your input.
