Flush because nute burn

Hi All

So I'm having to flush my 3 week old babies as they seem to have nute burn started on the second set of single leaves but now looks like it's just affecting the above 3 leaved stalk.

My question is... is there a possibility of overwatering during this flush and should I just use normal ph'd water?

Any advice would be really appreciated.

You shouldn't even be feeding 3 week plants, especially if they're in a soil similar to ocean forest or the like. Personally I might feed them something like seaweed extract, I used to use just this and rely on whatever microbes I had in my mix but now I plan to use a compost tea like heisenbergs with a dose of beneficial bacteria and maybe mix in 5ish ml/g of a weak organic base nutrient like 1-.8-.7 or something. But I would also probably wait until probably my second node to add the nutrients. The tea could be added around the same time you get your first true leaves in a very small amount. Then I would probably just mist to water until the soil was dry.

The flush will overwater them at that point unless they're in tiny amounts of medium. In a solo cup you might be ok but a 1gallon will be too big for it to drink quickly.

Ah ok. I'm growing in coco so only enough nutrients for the first couple of weeks. Then I used plant magic coco a and b and root stimulant.

Oops didn't know you were in coco, those were mostly soil answers, in coco I'd still probably wait until I saw a deficiency to feed the first time, or is start at like 1/4 or even 1/8 the dose if it's still in early veg like that. The compost tea is still probably a good idea though, it should cut down on veg time if properly brewed with the right bennies.

Also I have no experience with coco personally but I don't think flushing will overwater them to the point of damage. Also not sure on how organics work in coco so whatever base you're using watered down might be better.
