flush

i'm ummming and aarring whether or not to start to flush the girls....... some of the pisils on the top buds are just starting to turn but not much, and the lower buds seem under-developed..
maybe i should just hold off for another week...

week 8 flowering pics should be up tomoro..

i am runing 1x600w hps light and the temp is a steady 85* with co2 doing its job in the corner, i'm sure this will be fine with the small amount i have...
i will buy an air con unit to help with the temp this weekend.

85 is too hot ,75-80......

85 is the limit realy but u should be fine as long as u dont go to close to 90.

as for flushing, if ur at week 8 ide deffo start a 2week flush now, i assume ur growing a sativa based strain, as most indicas are finished by week 8??

start ur flush and get some nice pics up. we all wanna see

dude start that flush man, assuming your 2 weeks from harvest ofcourse..

thats the whole point.......it's my first time and i'm not sure what bud looks like 2 weeks before harvest...

do u know what strain it is? an indica dominate should finish in about 56 days, give or take a week. if thats the case, flush now.

thats not too hot if hes using co2 like he said he is.

and indicas can take 7-11wks and sativas 10-18wks so you cant go by that.

and my advise is dont flush. its a waste.

i didnt say that was to hot!!!!!!!!
i also said that if he was growing a sativa he could go on!! stating indican generaly finnish much sooner.

i have done grows and am at the moment with temps up2 90, mainly staying around 85 and mine r banging.

85 is about where im at myself although my veg room has been getting up to 90 near the ceiling. hopefully all will be lovely soon. im doubling my grows cubic footage and upgrading from a 400 to a 1000w hps in flower and from 240w of flourescents to that 400w hps in veg.

400w during veg and 1000 during flower will bring u massive yeilds of banging bud, done properly!!!!!!!

i wish i had a 1000 on my ladies but theyr almost done now so no point, not gunna do another i think for a long time!!! got other priorities at the mo unfortunetly, good luck with the big 1000w m8

it's power skunk(flying dutchman) and looking great just taking longer than i thought.. as from today i have changed to just feeding it water, i have taken the temp down to 75* over the last few days by adding an extra duct intake fan and now take the air from both from a room with an open window,
tomorow i am going to try it with both lights... i will post new picks on my journal tomorow...

Brown pistols mean little. The trichs will tell you when it's done. Isn't there a RUI tutorial on ripeness somewhere?

Indica 40 - 50% amber

Sativa probably less amber - or you may end up wrecking a good sativa. Mostly cloudy with 20 - 30% amber

85 is just fine with Co2. With enough Co2 avail to the plants you can go upwards of 90.

when flushing is it good to do it for two weeks? and you are to do it everyday for those two weeks??

no not everyday, as the plant needs it!!!!

ph'd water does it best, cleaner, smoother smoke.

water for 2 weeks, water let top 2inches dry then water again until the 2weeks is up, dry out completely in the pot then chopgoodluck.

see i'm still stuck at the same point, I don't know what a plant looks like with 2 weeks left, i'm on week 8 of flower and it is power skunk clearly an indica, and suposed to be a quick flowering plant.. on the basis it could take up to 11 weeks im going to give it bloom feed for 1 more week, i've also noticed over the last few days that there ha been alot of new leaf growth especialy around the bud itself, i heard that you can get a second spurt of groth so want to take advantage of this with by bio-bizz bloom.

the room is almost complete, still strugling to keep the smell from drowning out the hose and i have a carbon filter...ha ho.

the temp is now at a steady 82* and thats with both 600w hps lights ON!!! ...
