Flushing and PH

I was just about ready to start flushing when I decided to play with adding some molasses (I was still on nutes at the time). Things looked good for a few days and then my PH went nuts. Most likely the result of getting lazy. So I went to straight water with PH down and worked the PH back to normal. As its time to flush now anyway Im not concerned but heres what I want to know.

Do I still adjust the water to my standard 5.8 or do I just go pure water and not worry about it? How about going back on the molasses?

I'd go a week on Molasses and then a week staight water flush. Thay definetly bulk up more. I'm on my 3rd grow and it works lika champ. You'll see it in 3 days , nugs will be fallin over and smell sweeter

Molasses and water right up til harvest for me, or now Advanced Nutrients - Bud Candy! when I'm harvesting I really don't care what the PH is.

Would you stop nutes at the 10th week?

and let the 11th wk be just h20, and on the final 12th wk go 1 tbsp molasses in h20 (considering the 12th wk shows 50/50 on the trichs)

(this is where I am vague)

Since you're using molasses...I assume you're growing medium is soil...in which case 5.8 pH is way too low. You should be around 6.5.

You could do it like that, but why not just do both the 11th and 12th week with just H20 and molasses? What nutrient system are you using and are you growing hydro or in dirt?

well on the 9th wk, last wk the trichs really came in naturally.. starting clerar.. now the 10th week they are coming in more and more still clear, i figure two more weeks they should be 50/50 ill post pics. because this assumption i am going to flush for harvest now..

(the system i am discussing is in a custom made soil, using tiger and big bloom through flower and a 20-10-10 veg nutrient) same soil for 80 day veg and now the 10th week of flow. I did add a little more, but other than that no. The girl looks great!! Pics soon!

i have 2 people telling me go on the molasses for the last 2 wks, and 2 saying no.. thats why I figured only one week.

are there really disadvantages using it? why? are there strains that are just not tolerant to the molasses?

ANYHELP appreciated thanks.. this should help us all understand the end flush technique a little more indepth.

What I know is that if you're growing in dirt it's a good idea to start the molasses early to give it enough time to make it to your roots and then into the plant. It helps with photosynthesis and brings that really sweet taste to your smoke I know there is more too it then just that. . .
I never used the nutrients you're using, but as long as your plants are budding and you're happy then you know you're on the right track.
Also, when i grow in soil I mix up two different batches one for veg and one flower. . . start them in a 8" pot and then move them to a 5 gallon grow bag.
