hey all, I was wondering something.. So I gave one of my plants a nute burn and I decided to flush it tonight, I gave it good amoutn of water and allowed it to drain out of the holes... I was wondering, how long will it take for the soil to dry and water again? IF this takes a few days, I am considering going out of town for a few days to get some more clones, would it be chill to flush all 5 of my plants, get some of the salt build ups out, then just allow time + automatic cycle do the work while I go up north and back?

sorry if that didnt make sense :joint:

how long your soil takes to dry depends on the soil mix and how much there in in your pot. If you have a good soil mix in a fair sized container (2 gal plus) you can expect the pot to dry out in 2-3 days. If the pot is still heavy after this time you should consider repotting as your soil probably is not draining properly which will lead to many problems down the road. You can start ferting your plants right after you flush by the way. Flushing just gets rid of the salts that have built up. If your watering your plants might as well feed them as well is my opinion.
