I once bought a Hight Times for it's article on organic and natural pest control. The very first thing I saw when I opened it to the article was a big picture of a fat cola around 3/4 of the way with a big praying mantis on the side of the bud bug eyeing the camera looking like it's staring right at you.

I figured I knew enough about mantises that I was curious to see if there might be something new here. So I was surprised to learn that, direct quote here everybody, "The appearance of pests like this can spell the demise of your garden". That was new. I did not know that about mantises (that was sarcasm, just to be clear).

The best part was that even though this had to be a ridiculous error and I figured the very next issue would probably have a letter to the editor along with an apology and correction there was neither. And then they reprinted the same article. And then they reprinted it a second time still claiming that mantises are a destructive pest that can "spell the demise of your garden".

As for my reading comprehension it definitely wasn't the issue. The picture had a live bud and the only other thing was a praying mantis. There was nothing else the caption could have been referring to as a pest. This is ridiculous because, as you've already pointed out, mantases ((not whatever mantii(sic)are)) are a predator and don't feed on plants.

That was the whole point. I never said mantases were a pest. I said High Times magazine is ridiculous because they said.

As for retards, homos, non human people, brain dead retards, subhuman retards, and fucking slavs(sic) you'd be a much happier person, or at least a whole lot less angry, if you just came out of the closet on all fronts.

High times is only good for the pictures, used to be like porn to me before I started growing, lol.

I do like when people that over fertilizer their plants, and always have shitty sparky grass cuz they dried it too fast as well, tell other people that they need to flush or their weed won't taste good.

I had some of bud from a cross of mine that had a great sunny D flavor, all grown with pure blend pro, that I smoked with some people at a party. One cat hits it and instantly was like "holy shit that taste great, where did you get it?"

I told him I grew it indoor and he then responded, "Oh, I get organic grown blah blah blah" But then when I seen the weed he had I laughed, some shitty grown outdoor that was dried to a crisp and I'm guessing grown with chemical fert too, lol.

Long story short people don't know what they're talking about most times and would purposely buy shitty tasting weed because their buddy said it was "organically" grown even though it's was only grown in dirt outdoors most likely with chem ferts.

I basically always lie to people about how it was grown, whether it was my work or someone else’s, purely as a social experiment. I make it up on the spot, hydro, outdoor, organic no till, coco, hempy, aeroponics...people always say “yeah, I can tell because [insert fallacious reasoning]”
